I started practising yoga at 16 years old. An elderly woman in the village was training to be a yogi and my mother, her friend and I were her first students. At 16, I was very flexible, and I remember thinking, yoga is for me, I just got it. Over the 40+ years, I’ve benefited from many teachers and styles, but I’ve always come back to Hatha yoga.

Hey! 👋🏻 My name is Jo and I’m a 62-year-old Yoga teacher based in Dorset. I have a handbuilt, timber-framed yoga studio at the bottom of my herb-filled garden.

After living in Essouira and running yoga retreats for 8 years, I returned to England at the beginning of the pandemic.

I am available for 1-1 yoga sessions via zoom. I give all students a consultation and design a bespoke session based on their spiritual and physical needs.
