What a day at the International Women's Podcast Awards!
From a meeting with Apple at their incredible Battersea Power Station offices, via a quick lunch with one half of Straight to the Comments and a pedicure, to an awards ceremony with a stunning view of the Thames at the IET, yesterday was an amazing day.

I'm so proud of all the work that Lisa and Sarah put into Straight to the Comments, that got the show nominated this year. And very excited to take part in such fantastic events with the best our industry has to offer.

Oh, and even Podpads got a look in too - with me and Suze Cooper supplying one for every guest at the awards!

I’ve wanted to work on a show about the history of Medway for some time, so I was delighted when Suze Cooper asked me to assist on this project.
We’re really proud of it. Some of the episodes are the most complicated I have ever worked on - they include onsite recording, live music, interview, story-telling and a live round table discussion in a cafe!

Whether you’re a Medway local or not, there’s plenty to inform and entertain here. The first episode drops tomorrow.

I’m proud to produce this show for Claire. She records each episode remotely with her guests, and then I edit and mix the show, providing show notes, metadata and shareable audiograms too.

Another year, another Christmas door!

This year, I went for a stained glass look, inspired by my daughter’s performance of A Christmas Carol. I’ve included my favourite Dickens quote ‘I will honour Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all the year’. It seemed appropriate as the man himself lived here in Medway!

My brightly lit office really works well here. Just don’t ask me how many hours I’ve spent on it 🙈
