Women of Honour & Substance

Scriptures:
- Deuteronomy 28:2, 13
- Proverbs 16:3, 20

Good morning, and I hope to find you well this morning. As I was spending time with God, I was made to reflect on my life. If I’m going to be honest, I went into my devotional time with one question: “Lord, how?”

In life, we are always asking, "Why? Why? Why?" But have you ever thought to ask, “Lord, I see my life is not going exactly how I planned. So, Lord, show me how you would like me to take the next step.”

The Bible says in Isaiah 55:8 (BSB): “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. If you find yourself in a place where you don’t understand what’s going on in your life or where to go, why don’t you sit down and enquire from the One who made you, who knows the end and the beginning of your life? The Bible says, “He that handles a matter wisely will find good, and he that trusts in the Lord will be happy” (Proverbs 16:20).

Why don’t you sit down and try this way instead?

It Is Not the End

Good morning, Women of Honour. I hope this message finds you well. This week, I found myself looking at certain situations in my life that seemed hopeless, as if there was no way out. Turning left and right, it felt like things were only getting worse.

During a conversation with the Holy Spirit, I was reminded of a powerful scripture: “Son of man, can these dry bones live?” This question made me pause and stop feeling overwhelmed.

Ezekiel 37:3-4 (BSB) says, "Then He asked me, 'Son of man, can these bones come to life?' 'O Lord GOD,' I replied, 'only You know.' And He said to me, 'Prophesy concerning these bones and tell them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!'"

In this season, we must use our words to transform dead situations! It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when things look bleak, but God calls us to speak life into these dry bones.

I decree and declare, whatever situation seems dead in your life—be it finances, children, family, business, or marriage—hear the word of the Lord. Let the breath of God enter and revive you now! In Jesus' Mighty Name.

Discouragement:

2 Kings 4: 8-37 - Elisha & the Shunammite Woman

Today, our study is the Shunamite Woman. We learn many good things from her. In times of adversary/ darkness/discouragement/ death, She refused to speak life into it.

1. She knew when and what to speak (All is well)
2. She knew where to go when trouble had come
3. She remembered the promise she was given & went back to remind God. (Isaiah 43:26

Our prayer and meditation today is that the Lord teaches us to be like the Shunamite woman in times of discouragement in Jesus' Name.
