As we head into the festive season, here are the dates for our final sessions of 2025 - and when we’ll be back cycling again! 🚲✨

📅 Last Sessions Before Christmas:
• New Scots Women's sessions (GG): Monday 8th December
• New Scots Ride (GG): Wednesday 10th December
• Wednesday Ride (VP): Wednesday 17th December
• Friday and Women's Rides (GG): Friday 19th December
• Learn to Ride (GG&VP): Saturday 20th
• Saturday Ride (VP): Saturday 20th
• Monday Ride (MH): Monday 22nd December
• Tuesday Ride (GG&VP): Tuesday 23rd December

• Hub at Victoria Park (Adapted Bikes): Wednesday 17th December
• Hub at Glasgow Green (Adapted Bikes): Thursday 18th December

Our last activity will take place on 23rd December, and then we’ll be taking a well-earned festive break.

✨ We’ll be back on Tuesday 6th January, ready for a new year of cycling, community and sunshine (the Glasgow kind 😉).

Yesterday we had the team from Cycling UK along to visit our hub at Glasgow Green where we were able to show them our hub, tell them more about what we do and for them to try out our adapted bikes. This team deliver their ICE project (Inclusive Cycling Experience) in Manchester and Inverness. We heard about their project's earlier this year, it was great to hear how our experiences compare, the different users we get and how we enable them to cycle.

We're all working to break down barriers to get more people cycling and there is always something new to learn.

There were 50mph winds forecast for this morning and we took the decision to cancel our rides for the safety of our staff, volunteers and participants.

But, we are aware that for many, the bike rides are a social activity, an opportunity to see other people, an opportunity to get out the house, to talk through worries, to share good news, to get active, it's an opportunity to not be stuck in the house. And so we had a coffee social instead.

Usually there are 2 groups out on a Friday but today there was one group at WEST on the Green, and we were joined by other friends and those who are not currently able to cycle. It was really nice to bring our community together.
