Lots of wool on the looms this week, with some interesting developments for various clients going on. Some big monster warps too.

It has been a mad few months here at Vevar but we are finally back in Glasgow, back in the studio, and back weaving!

Next month we will be giving a presentation along with .atelier and about our Dye Weave Pleat project we recently presented at Maison d'exceptions in Paris.

With thanks to and for giving us the opportunity to share this project on home turf. Can't wait to see you all at .glasgow

We will also be revealing an ongoing community project we have been working on for over a year with the .scot "weaving our stories"

In the meantime we are getting our heads down working on some different client developments, our own A/W 26 collection, an exciting limited run launching this autumn, and if you have made it to the end of this post a cheeky wee chance to get your hands on some of our samples and seconds at an event in Glasgow, TBA!

As part of Glasgow's 850th birthday celebrations this year, the Fabulous became a free woman of the city, and in doing so became a member of the . It was Vevar's pleasure to design and weave a shawl, inspired by her iconic character "Mary Doll" for the Incorporation to gift at the civic reception held in Glasgow's City Chambers in her Honour.
The "Mary Doll shawl" is a 1 of 1 cashmere and silk homage to man Iconic Glasgow Character.

Supporting event raising awareness for mental health resources and su***de prevention Vevar have donated two "wee man" scarves. A print design from our archive these two PNW scarves are an exclusive design for tonight's event and won't be repeated.
