Introducing… Josie! One of our Drama Tutors ✨

Josie has worked with Nemo for over four years, leading drama sessions and, more recently, supporting the team with administrative and social media work. She is also a Performer, working predominantly in immersive theatre for young audiences.

Josie hopes her drama sessions can be a safe, welcoming space where everyone belongs - a place to be yourself, connect with others, embrace silliness, and give yourself the freedom to play!

When she’s not running sessions or working behind the scenes in the office, Josie can usually be found learning Italian, playing board games, or getting involved in the Glasgow Musical Theatre community.

Her favourite feel-good song? Hold On, by Wilson Phillips! 🎶

Introducing…

Isabel! Our Founder 💛

Nemo has been at the heart of Isabel’s life for the past 26 years. Driven by her son John’s experience with mental health challenges and the heartbreak of his passing, Isabel co-founded the charity to help others find comfort, connection, and hope - and to ensure that no one feels alone in their struggles.

Isabel loves seeing the friendships, confidence, and skills that grow through Nemo’s workshops and creative projects - all brought to life by the amazing team. Isabel still takes part in the Taiko Drumming, and when she’s not at Nemo, she can often be found happily working away in her garden, which gives her great pleasure (and quite often a sore back!), or dancing in her kitchen to her favourite feel-good song, ‘I Could Have Danced All Night.’

Thank you, Isabel, for your vision, courage, and dedication - and for creating a charity that has changed many lives for the better. 👏🏻💐
