Lately I’ve been craving more time slowing down, being off my phone, quiet moments, and even slower walks. Space to just be with my thoughts, with myself.

Not rushing from one thing to the next, but taking time to transition from what I’m doing, letting it integrate, pausing, and having a break. Not filling my brain with the next podcast or course, but making space for quiet.

Having some time away last month in Nepal, in a different environment, helped me see how much I try to fit into a day, and I’m learning how to gift myself more space and stillness.

In that spaciousness, I receive more clarity, and life just feels more easeful and fun.

So many of us are living in a constant state of doing and stress, overloading our system, but these moments of slowing down are so essential for our health. It is one of the greatest gifts we could offer ourselves.

Your body is always tuned in to your thoughts and will speak to you through tension and pain. Deep listening to the body is where real shifts can happen.

This is something I wish I knew earlier. I spent years dealing with chronic pain and tension and it wasnt until I learnt how to stop the mental overload and start being in stillness, that things started to change.

If this is you, my invitation to you is to take a few minutes and focus on your breath and your body, take some time to be still. Your body will thank you 🥰

There was a time when I believed I was “too sensitive,” as if it was a weakness. I tried to hide my emotions and be who I thought I needed to be.

Everything started to shift when I began to understand my body, my nervous system, and my sensitivity on a deeper level. I realised it was actually one of my greatest strengths.

I’m intuitive, compassionate, and deeply empathetic. I just needed to learn how to support myself and create stronger boundaries.

That’s when everything changed. I stepped into my power.

I was never too much, I just hadn’t fully accepted myself yet.

Today I felt stressed, I witnessed myself starting to "do" everything, be productive, creating a cycle of overwhelm and overthinking. As I observed myself, I decided to take some time out and go for a slow walk in the forest.

This tree felt like it called my name, I asked if it would hold me, I felt like it opened its branches to me. I stepped in, leaned back and let myself be held by the tree. I cried, feeling immense love pouring in and gratitude for this loving embrace. I gave love to the tree as much as I received.

It was a beautiful nourishing encounter that was so supportive. I remembered in this moment that everything really is ok, it is always working out, there are no solutions when I am overwhelmed and stressed but when I take some time out to shift my energy, eveything changes. I am grateful.

A sweet reminder that nature can hold us when we forget how to hold ourselves 🙏
