I used to live in a constant state of overthinking and stress, my body tight and tense, my breath shallow, my mind never switching off.
I had gotten so used to it that I couldn’t remember any other way of being.

For years I couldn’t even carry a backpack over my shoulders. I just lived with it.

Until I started learning how my body was communicating with me.
I had to learn embodiment because I was so in my head I didn’t even know what connecting to the body felt like. It didn’t feel safe.

When I began learning about the nervous system, and how to work with it rather than against it, everything started to shift.
I realised I had been stuck in survival mode: constant doing, fighting, resisting, trying to control the outcome.

Slowly I began to be in my body again, to listen to what it was saying.
My body started to show me the way, a pathway to deep healing.
Now I work with it, not against it.

What happened?
My energy came back.
My digestion settled.
I stopped feeling on edge.
I finally felt safe resting, slowing down, and actually being in my body.

Once I felt safe within, it became safe to start creating the life I truly desired.

Feeling safe really is the foundation for any change.
We cannot create anything until our system feels safe to.

This work is so important.
I now have so many tools, from my own lived experience, to support others with regulation, healing deep-rooted trauma, and rewiring the system back to safety.

One thing I wish I knew 20 years ago is that I didn’t have to do it alone.

Change isn’t always easy.
It can feel lonely, stir up resistance, uncertainty, or the desire to control the outcome.

But when we soften and allow ourselves to flow with what life is showing us, our body relaxes, the breath deepens, and trust begins to grow in the unfolding. Life begins to work for us.

Just like the change in seasons, the trees letting go of their leaves, we’re reminded by life itself that release is part of renewal. This is where the magic happens and where we open to possibility. ✨️

What if who you think you are isn’t actually you, but who the world taught you to be?

The conditioning from society, parents, teachers… all the ways we’ve learned to fit in, please others, and keep ourselves safe.

So many of us spend our lives becoming who we think we should be.
Until we wake up to feeling disconnected, anxious, and unsure what’s actually ours and what we’ve just absorbed.

Peeling back the layers isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.

I had a client recently who felt sad when she began this process.
She said, “If I’m not all these things I’ve been told I am… then I’m nothing.”

But when we softened into that space of nothing, she realised it wasn’t empty at all.

It was peace, potential, and freedom.

What if nothing actually means everything?

Because when we release the stories and expectations, we come home to the truth of who we are.

From that place, life begins to feel lighter, clearer, and more aligned.
That’s where magic and creation live.

So, who are you beneath the noise?
