📢 Storm Éowyn Update 📢

Due to the severe weather conditions caused by Storm Éowyn, our Buchanan Orthotics office and factory will be closed today.

While some of our staff will be working remotely, please note that our phone lines will be unmonitored.

As the festive season approaches, we'd like to inform you of our Christmas closing times.
The Buchanan Clinic will be closing at 12pm on Tuesday, 24th December 2024 and reopening on Friday, 3rd January 2025.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support throughout the year.

We had the pleasure of the inventor of the turtle brace, giving our clinicians a masterclass in fitting and using the turtle brace.

The Turtle brace can be used to provide stretch for contractures the foot and ankle and upper limb.

Its perforated so it can be used in water such as the pool or shower.

Suitable for use in children and adults with a variety of conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Stroke or foot drop.

The Buchanan Clinic provides private Orthotic treatment based on Helen Street, only five minutes from Glasgow City Centre. The clinic is attached to our manufacturing facility allowing on-site adaption and finishing.

We provide the full range of Orthotic treatments including Biomechanical Assessment, Insoles, Footwear, Ankle foot Orthoses (splints) and Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses (Calipers). Our clinicians have extensive experience in Orthotic devices made in plastic as well as carbon Fibre and are trained in the offer the most appropriate solution to your needs.

The Buchanan Clinic is part of Buchanan Orthotics. We have been supplying the NHS and private patients with specialist medical treatments since 1951.

Steprite, our footwear brand, offers a range of traditional and modern styles, suitable for all age groups, and are available in a wide array of colours and adaptions. With styles and lasts specially designed for wide, diabetic and rheumatoid feet.
