Taylor & Martin Property Management is a property factoring service catering to property owners who desire a hands-on, proactive service. We manage a range of buildings and developments from traditional tenement blocks to new build developments. Taylor & Martin was born out of the belief that property management should be a personal service with the ability to adapt to the wide variety of homeowners and their properties. Our philosophy is therefore centred around strong onsite presence and close communication with all of our clients in order to form relationships with each of them. We achieve this by maintaining a select portfolio of properties, allowing us to dedicate the necessary time to provide a premium service. Taylor & Martin manage a range of services including communal, garden maintenance, buildings insurance, lift maintenance and fire protection services.

📍New Appointment – Anchor Mill, Paisley 📍

Taylor & Martin Property Management are delighted to begin our role as the new for one of Paisley’s most historic and iconic buildings, The Anchor Mill.

Originally constructed in 1886 as part of the Anchor Mills complex, once a powerhouse of thread manufacture and home to one of the largest textile operations in the world, The Anchor Mill stands as a proud symbol of Paisley’s industrial heritage. After decades of dereliction, the building underwent a remarkable, multi-million-pound restoration in the early 2000s, returning this Category A-listed landmark to life as a vibrant mixed-use development.

Today, The Anchor Mill is a uniquely beautiful space, thoughtfully converted into 60 residential apartments and large commercial offices nestled around its stunning central atrium, thoughtfully reflecting its industrial past.

This appointment represents a major milestone for Taylor & Martin and we’re proud to be entrusted with managing such an architecturally significant and community-focused development.

From Trainee to Property Manager - Meet Rachel Melville! 🌟

When Rachel joined Taylor & Martin in February 2023, she had no experience in property, her background was actually in pub management! But that didn't deter her from starting a new career in Property Management.

She started as a trainee and learned everything on the job, from legislation and client communication to site visits and managing her own portfolio.

“Thanks to the support of my team, I passed my probation early and became a Property Manager within months,” Rachel says.

On working at Taylor & Martin, she adds:

“I honestly can’t see myself working for another factor. The team really invests in you, trains you properly, and helps you grow.”

And what skills have helped her succeed?

“Organisation is key, you need to keep on top of your workload and records. Patience and empathy are just as important, especially when clients are frustrated. I’ve definitely grown a lot in these areas since I started.”

Craig Ferguson’s Tartan Trek 🚶‍♂️

Last night, the Taylor & Martin Property Management team were honoured to attend a special event hosted by SAMH at The Collector's Hall in Glasgow, marking the launch of Craig Ferguson's Tartan Trek challenge.

As SAMH’s charity partner, we are incredibly proud to continue our support and stand behind Craig as he prepares to take on this remarkable 3,000-mile journey across the USA, raising awareness and vital funds for mental health.

We were privileged to be joined by First Minister John Swinney alongside many familiar faces from across Scottish entertainment and sport, including Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

It was especially powerful to see Craig’s friends and family in attendance on the night, highlighting the personal commitment and support behind this challenge. More than a test of physical endurance, the Tartan Trek is a powerful statement about resilience, openness and the importance of mental wellbeing.

SAMH does outstanding work supporting people across Scotland affected by mental health challenges, and we are immensely proud to be supporters of an organisation making such a meaningful difference.

We wish Craig every success as he embarks on the Tartan Trek and look forward to following his journey every step of the way. 💙

Small jobs = Big impact.

Not every improvement needs to be a major project to make a real difference to homeowners.

This recent project at Fern Court in Lenzie is a great example of that. The roof on the external bike store had become tired and worn over time and whilst it wasn’t a major construction job, it was important to residents to provide a secure, clean and practical storage for bikes and equipment.

From refreshing communal areas to carrying out essential repairs, Taylor & Martin Property Management look after a wide variety of works across the developments we manage. No job is too small when it improves the quality and appearance of the shared spaces at our developments.

We are proud to sponsor Ben Wyvis Cycle Club 🚵‍♀️ and to support the incredible work being done to grow junior cycling and sports throughout local communities in Scotland.

One of our own team members, Wayne, volunteers his time as a qualified off-road cycling coach, helping inspire and develop a fast-growing group of young riders aged 8–17. As the club continues to grow, more volunteers are stepping forward to gain qualifications and support the next generation, something we at Taylor & Martin Property Management are delighted to stand behind.

At the weekend, Ben Wyvis Cycle Club competed in the Strathpuffer 24, one of the toughest 24-hour mountain bike races in the world. With over 800 riders from the UK, Europe, America and Canada (ranging in age from 11 to 86), it was a truly world-class event.

Despite entering a team at short notice, the BWCC U14 team delivered an outstanding performance, riding into third place after a hotly contested competition. Even more impressive, the average age of the BWCC riders was just 13, compared to an average of 16 across the other teams.

An incredible achievement that speaks volumes about their endurance, determination and pride.

Munro charity challenge update 🏔️

Now that the festive break is behind us, diaries are filling up again and we’re properly back into the swing of things for the new year, it felt like the perfect time to share an update on our Munro in support of SAMH

By Christmas, the team had just three Munros left to conquer. In an incredible final push before Hogmanay, Nic Mayall and his family managed to summit two more, taking our total to an impressive 24 Munros before the year was out 🙌

While we narrowly missed the full 25 by the end of 2025, we’re incredibly proud of what the team achieved. The determination, teamwork and commitment shown throughout the year has been outstanding and we’re not stopping now. That final Munro is still waiting, and the challenge isn’t over yet.

As we kick off 2026, we’d love your support to help us push this challenge over the line and raise as much as possible for mental health support across Scotland. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.

Harrison - Our Highland Hero! 🥰

As part of our charity challenge this year, our team set out to climb 25 Munros in 2025, and with just three left to go, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate someone who’s been with us on the journey ⛰️

Harrison has been taking on the hills alongside his dad, Gordon McGlone and has absolutely smashed it! From big climbs to big smiles (and facing all weathers) he’s been a huge part of the challenge and honestly, we couldn’t have done it without him.

We also suspect Gordon has enjoyed the company every step of the way 😉

To say a HUGE thank you, both Taylor & Martin Property Management and SAMH surprised him with a gift and a trophy to recognise his amazing effort - well done Harrison! 🏆
