January came in strong
I’m feeling so grateful for the work I do, the people I get to work alongside, and yoga I teach, and also the incredible tools I get to share in this space. It’s been a full-on workhorse kind of month 🐎 — exciting, busy, and stretching in all the ways.
Finding work–life balance hasn’t been perfect (or pretty), but I made a New Year intention to myself: even on the end of my busiest weeks, I would gift myself rest.
Even if it’s just 15–20 minutes at the end of my week.
A mini massage. Gentle sound. A moment to breathe.
Some days it felt like the hardest thing to prioritise — especially when we’re over-stretched — but that’s exactly when rest and recovery matter most 🤍
This is the heart of BreidgeBrownewellness:
✨ a warm, grounding treatment space or class
✨ where nervous systems soften
✨ and self-care is honored as a necessity, not a luxury
Because self-care isn’t selfish — it’s how we keep showing up in this busy world we live in.
Note to myself this year:
If you’ve been putting yourself last, let this be your reminder 🌿
Your body deserves care.
Your mind deserves rest.
You deserve the pause.
