This morning we thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the children at Calderwood Lodge Primary.

Today’s plan was making melted snowman, the connection the children and residents have developed is lovely ☃️🍪

Our Winter Wonderland is fast approaching ❄️

Sharon held a meeting with our residents this afternoon to discuss the event. The residents are taking their own stall and looking forward to selling sweet cones, reindeer dust, snowflake crafts to handmade scarfs. We respect and value our resident input. 🍬🦌❄️🧣

Fiona delivered lovely one to one with residents, this time is personalised to the individual 📔

Then this afternoon our residents flower arranged the centre pieces for our dining room, this activity created lovely reminiscence chats of flowers and the joy they gave 💐😊

We’re currently looking for donations for our raffles at our Winter Wonderland event! Any contributions, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and will help make the day extra special for our residents and community.

❄️ Winter Wonderland Returns! ❄️

We're delighted to announce that our Winter Wonderland event will be back on Sunday 7th December!

It's set to be a wonderful day out for all the family, with plenty to enjoy.

We are currently looking for donations for our raffles and tombolas, which would be greatly appreciated. Your support helps make this special day even more memorable for our residents and community.

If anyone would also like to book a stall on the day, please let us know!

Meringue attempt this morning, unfortunately they didn’t quite work out however it provided a

Our dedicated team will remain the same, continuing to provide the compassionate, person-centred care that Westacres is so proud of.
