After 21 months of coping with cancer my darling husband passed away on the 20th December. It was Steve's wish that I carry on with The Dingley Dell Pets as they brought me so much joy.I will need to take time to get my thoughts together and wont be doing any events for the foreseeable future but watch this space.x

Could you be a foster carer for Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care?

Each foster carer means we can help many more rabbits per year. Full support, training and equipment is provided by the charity.

Find out more about fostering at http://fbrc.org.uk/foster.

Gosh, we've been mega busy this Easter. We've been to lots of venues, telling people to research before thinking about getting a pet,not to buy a bunny for Easter and suggesting they foster or adopt rather than buy. We've shown our beautiful giants and our cheeky dwarf rabbits and delighted many. We've thoroughly enjoyed some fabulous venues. Glasgow Life Libraries and community centres, The Regent Centre in Hamilton, the Regent Centre in Kirkintilloch, The Howgate in Falkirk where this photo of my two gorgeous volunteers,Julieann and Jamielee and my gorgeous big boy Thor was taken.

This wee video is great. Adopt don't shop-great message...but what about fostering. Why not foster rabbits as a family and do something great for abandoned rabbits. You could still adopt the rabbits if you couldn't bear to part with them but what a fantastic lesson for the family to learn.Very worthwhile.x

Hi everyone, just up from the Dell after cleaning out skinny pigs...a job Rachel and I were going to do last night! I think Rachel would probably agree that our guilty pleasure is being distracted by the chinchillas....we do spend quite a bit of time with them, especially in the dark nights. Last night we had Jerry the degu out to play, our Syrian hamsters, Nutmeg and Peaches, (who are not supposed to get along but love each other very much),and the sugar gliders, Luca and Luna along with the chins. Here are some pics..Rachel, I think we were in there for about 2 hours!!!!x
