It's that time of year again, the time I really don't like. I'm supposed to ask for nominations for the Funeral Awards but it just feels really wrong.
Being a part of the awards is enough for me, knowing I've done the very best I can for you. I am truly grateful for all your continued support 🩷

I love when new and upcoming celebrants reach out for advice and I'm always happy to give it when I can.
However I need to point out that I'm a funeral only kinda gal! If you need advice about being a wedding celebrant I can absolutely point you in the direction of some fabulous folk.
I can't train you ( honestly, I could but not officially) but I can and will mentor you if that's what you need.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, ask me anything.It might not be what you want to hear but it will always be truthful.
Being a celebrant is blooming amazing! If you're considering it but need a little support or advice I'm only ever a call or message away xx C xx

Huge thank you to the wonderful team at Govanhill Community Remembrance Garden 🩷 Two lovely plaques for Mum on the remembrance tree. She would be delighted, she always appreciated the gardens and everything they do for the community. I'll be down with some flowers soon, now that I'm back in Glasgow.

Yesterday we said our final farewell to mum and although it was obviously a difficult day, so many of you made it a little easier. We truly appreciate each of you.
A special thanks to Liam at William Houghton Funeral Directors , Ingol. Liam, your kindness, advice, care and compassion helped us so much and we are grateful for everything you did to make mum's funeral service such a beautiful one. We honestly can't thank you and the rest of your staff enough.

Every year, win or not, your nominations mean the absolute world to me. Remember also, to nominate the amazing crematoria staff, brilliant florists, tea/wake venues ( and especially lovey dovey dove ladies 🕊️)

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their kind words about my wonderful mum. I will be with my family in Preston for the next few weeks and I won't be able to commit to any funeral services. I'd never leave you stranded though, Douglas Harvey Civil Celebrant and Vickie Harvey Celebrant & Funeral Singer have very kindly said that I can tag them in this post so if you need a wonderful Celebrant you can contact them 🩷
