I went into the hospice yesterday for a couple of hours because I didn’t want to let the charity PAMIS down, even though my son is in the hospital.

Everyone was busy making wreaths, and in between, people were also receiving therapies from me.

PAMIS does a wonderful job supporting carers, usually their sessions are on Saturdays, but this special wreath-making event was held on Tuesday instead. One of the carers, Marie, made this beautiful wreath.

I just wanted to take a moment to say the sincerest thank you to all my beautiful clients for your kindness, patience and understanding over the last few days.

Every message, every kind word and every bit of flexibility while I’ve had to cancel appointments has meant the world to me. I’m truly blessed to have such caring and supportive clients.

A heartfelt thank you as well to my fellow therapists who reached out with thoughtful and comforting messages your support has been so appreciated 💝

As many of you know, my son has been in hospital with pneumonia. With his muscular dystrophy, any chest infection becomes very serious, and it brings up a lot of fear and emotion.

As a mum who has experienced the heartbreak of losing a child to a chest infection before, these moments are incredibly hard.

Being a carer and a mum will always come first, and I appreciate you all giving me the space to focus on him when he needed me most.

Thank you again to my wonderful clients for your compassion, patience and understanding. I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️
