Bit of a longer one today and feel it needs to be on my main grid.

I felt like I needed to sit down and properly explain my page, my beliefs + where I’m coming from with the content I share.

Because I talk a lot about ingredient swaps + how different our food system looks now — especially when it comes to shelf life, additives + ultra-processed foods.

For me it comes down to prevention, education + awareness.

But I also wanted to say…

I really hope my page never comes across like I’m anti-medicine or anti-modern life — because I’m absolutely not.

There is a time + place for it all, and I’m so grateful we have it when we need it.

I’m just passionate about reducing what we can, questioning more + helping people understand labels a bit better.

No judgement. No extremes.
Just conversation.

One of the easiest swaps you can make 👀

I’ve started switching our usual wraps…

From ones made with stabilisers, emulsifiers, dextrose & raising agents ❌

To traditional Italian semolina wraps made with:

Durum wheat semolina, extra virgin olive oil & salt ✔️

Fewer ingredients.
More authentic.
Less ultra-processed.

Still taste unreal & the kids didn’t notice a difference 🙌🏼
