❄️WINTER SOLSTICE ❄️

This post is ceremoniously late as I imagine it always will be… This Winter we wintered hard. With lots of time for making, reading, being, learning and creating. Getting some beautiful winter nature in our faces, fingers, toes and other places!

As it becomes more and more obvious that the systems that have been built around us are not to be trusted. Taking time over the slow winter period to learn how to make my own things, like deodorant, skin care, cleaning products and herbal medicine. Things I might share on here at some point when my wintering begins to thaw out a little bit more…

The year of the snake isn’t quite over yet, there definitely was a lot of big changes as predicted. It certainly feels like there are some more endings near, some sad and some needed, some things not ending but transforming into something completely different.

Change is needed. Community is needed. You are needed.

It’s difficult to predict what’s ahead of us but we can hold each other through whatever is to come next.

(For those interested in astrology Pam Gregory always seems to have some idea of what’s coming up next, if you haven’t checked her out yet but have an interest. I would definitely recommend. I check in with her after checking in on Global events for a bit of hope and balance and it’s surprising how much she sees coming!)

Life can be really fu***ng hard sometimes, really fu***ng hard and it can be difficult to understand why sometimes have to live through such searing pain, to understand other peoples cruelty, ignorance and unaccountability in the world. As we see the veil fall on more and more acts of evil and try to make sense of these times, it’s valuable to remember there is no growth in comfort, real growth happens through challenges, difficulty, reflection and action. Without the reflection and action we just end up in eternal loops, coming back to the same lesson, the same painful situations over and over again.

We cannot let these difficult times, harden our hearts. To keep our hearts soft, to be kind, curious and generous, to still trust even though you have been given many reasons not to this is where the light comes in, where the growth happens, we learn, we grow, we continue, we keep reaching for one another. ✨🌱✨🌱

On Monday the 16th of February we will be holding our second Sound bath of 2026 just before the Solar Eclipse at 28 degrees in Aquarius takes us galloping into The Year of The Fire Horse. 🐴🔥

Big changes are happening for us at the moment, in our personal lives, on the world stage and in our hearts and minds. Some of these changes can feel heavy or scary and some of them might feel exciting and hopeful. 🌱

This sound bath will be focusing on the energy of release and flow. We release what we need to let go of and then flow with whatever comes next. It’s a wild time to be alive but with Conscious Community we can use this deeply transformative time to create some very beautiful things.🦋

Deep breaths. We have got this.

We will be sharing some calming centring breath work techniques and Ancient Philosophies that can help us move through 2026 with open minds and steady hearts.

Thank you to everyone who came to our IMBOLC Sound Bath on Monday. It was great to be back after a period of resting and wintering and have such a lovely room full of fresh and familiar faces.
We are so grateful for everyone that comes and trusts us to hold space for them. We love what we do and you make it possible.

GONG PRACTITIONER TRAINING - OUR FINAL WEEKEND 🥹🥹🥹

I’ve had a mix of emotions thinking about writing this post, the past year has meant so much to me. Learning and sharing with this beautiful group of humans and our amazing teacher, mentor and fountain of knowledge .puresound has truly been the experience of a life time. I didn’t want it to end… It felt so strange driving back home for the last time from a place that had become to feel like a second home.

Of course the in person training was just part of the journey, I still have case studies to complete, volunteers to find and to see what unfolds down the road, but this certainly has been a beautiful chapter and one I will always be grateful for.

Thank you to our wonderful teacher .puresound and my Gong Family for sharing so much of their knowledge, wisdom and beautiful energy with me. ✨
