End of an era today , over the years Sarah and myself have made great friends and connections at time out , today we joined in the farewell party and enjoyed eachothers company at bingo , we will definitely stay in touch with everyone 🥲🩷 and hope to see you at our dance session!

Crazy weather day ! Me and Jake managed to get a walk In this morning, before attending a chair based exercise class which was great ! We then had some social time having a brew , Jake did his shopping before choosing his lunch at go fish , he was flabbergasted to find his crab burger was actually 2 deep fried crabs 🤣 pincers and all . An active and amusing day , thanks Jake !

At Christmas time, we donated selection boxes at their Monday 12pm dance sessions at Youth Matters New Mills CIC 🪩

And for Easter, we are delighted to donate 20 Easter eggs 🐣

Had a really lovely day with Jake and today his mum joined us 🥰 Jake explored all his wierd and wonderful food at the market , and choose a Persian lunch , out in the sunshine and all enjoyed a good chat an a coffee , thanks Jake and Lesley for a great day! Parents and loved ones always welcome!

Suns out , back on more outdoor activities at last 🎉 I have to say , I’m so lucky to have supported many clients on some fantastic trips , holidays over the years but to watch David today learn how to drive a boat , circle it round and then literally take us right across the water at speed , independently was very very fulfilling!! Today’s activity was an adrenaline filled, a new skill learned and offered freedom on the water , we also had time for a spot of fishing 🎣 . A personal favourite of mine today Dave and I know you loved it too ..!

The Bureau’s friendly Social Prescribing Team will now be at Gamesley Community Centre every Tuesday from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

If something in life is causing you stress, worry or making things feel a bit overwhelming, you don’t have to deal with it alone. Our team is here to listen and help you find the right support.

You can come and talk to us about anything that’s affecting your wellbeing, for example:
• Feeling lonely or isolated
• Money worries or benefits
• Housing concerns
• Stress, anxiety or low mood
• Getting involved in local activities
• Finding support for you or your family

If you’re not sure where to start, that’s absolutely fine – just come along for a friendly, confidential chat and we’ll work it out together.

Today we did our exercises and were lucky enough to have our friend Alex from High Peak Comps join us and kindly hand out Easter eggs to our service users! Each week brings a fuller sports hall and more friends and connections are made 😀. Thankyou again to Alex for your support!
