Starting the week off with a challenge for you, nice and straightforward.... do extra stairs!

If you have them at home, then do some extra flights this week. If you don't, then grab yourself something that you can stand on, and go up and down. Let me know what you find, we have things all around us we can use as 'props' for exercise!

The warm-up and cool-down of any exercise routine is IMPORTANT! Whether it feels pointless to you or not, please make sure you always incorporate it into your workout.

Warming up prevents injuries by loosening your joints and helps move the blood around to your muscles.

I have been on the receiving end of a session with no-warm-up and it hurts!! ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

A genuine question for you, does seeing this six-pack, buff, short wearing gentleman doing an 'Alternative Side Plank' make you feel raring to go with exercise?

I am betting not!

This was taken from an article I found the other day that was giving suggestions for exercises you can 'do anywhere' .... really?? Anywhere?!?

That wasn't the worst of it, the exercise wasn't just a side plank, but with a tricep push-up too ...

This kind of expectation is something we see EVERYWHERE and it is not reality.

Reality is that healthy bodies come in all shapes and sizes. That you don't need to be doing some fancy (and hard) physical activity for it to be helpful and good for us.

You really can do this on your own, get moving! Or, I'm here for making you accountable, and helping you discover new ways to be physical. However you do it, is perfect!
