Hello from Teresa Faith companion service

Just a little update about the some of the outings my lovely clients and I have enjoyed recently.

We have visited Ormesby Hall, Mount Grace Priory, Preston Park Museum, Kirkleatham Owl Centre and Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum.

We have hit the aisles of the supermarkets, sampled refreshments in our excellent local cafes and wandered through parks and woodland.

Coast and countryside scenic drives (with optional sing-a-long in the car) have been a joy!

No photos to share (to protect privacy) but I can confirm that a happy time has been had by all, and this makes my job so rewarding and worthwhile.

A huge thank you to my clients & families for continuing to book with my service and for recommending me to others. I am so very grateful

Hello everyone
As you plan ahead for summer holidays, please keep Teresa Faith Companion Service in mind. I can pop in and check that all is well with elderly relatives in the Stokesley & Great Ayton area, and help them to feel supported whilst you are away. Meal preparation, fluid intake during warmer weather, exercise and stimulation, transport to appointments or clubs, company in the home or outings, there are so many ways I can assist.
Since the launch of Teresa Faith in January, I have had the absolute pleasure of providing companionship for my clients and enjoying a wide range of outings and activities together. I feel as though I have a whole new family!
Bookings can be regular or as and when extra support is needed.

It's almost two months since the launch of Teresa Faith companion service, and I have had such a lovely time meeting new clients and their families. Our outings have included coastal drives, Gisborough Hall, Hutton Rudby Antiques Fair, Northallerton, Saltburn, and Helmsley. I have also taken clients to visit family and to attend appointments, and provided company at home and respite time.
Thank you to everyone who has made enquiries and bookings - it really has been a wonderful start to the year (and even the gloomy weather hasn't spoilt our fun!)

Today is a great day!
Teresa Faith companion service is now open for business and I look forward to helping lots of lovely clients get out and about more or enjoy activities in the home. Today I have been out to Strikes & Barker & Stonehouse, Teesside Park and many enquiries have been from people who love to shop! So, whether it's the supermarket, farmers markets, retail parks or High Street you, or your family member enjoys, this is just one of the many things we can do together 🛒🛍

With just a few days to go until my first outing as Teresa Faith companion service, I would like to thank Mike Willis for giving consent to use his personal reference on my business page. I was so happy to receive this x

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to provide a heartfelt personal reference for Tracy, who served as the main carer for my mother, Mrs Willis, during her battle with dementia. Tracy's dedication and compassion went far beyond the typical carer-client relationship, and she became a cherished friend to our family.

Tracy consistently went the extra mile to ensure that Mrs. Willis enjoyed a fulfilling and joyful life. She took her out for various activities, including visits to garden centres, coffee shops, and trips to the beach. These outings brought immense happiness to Mrs Willis and greatly enhanced her quality of life. Tracy also engaged my mother in art activities, which not only provided mental stimulation but also fostered a deep bond between them.

Tracy's exceptional care extended to our entire family. She provided invaluable support to me, my brothers and the rest of the family, ensuring that, we were always informed about Mum's progress. Her communication was fantastic, and she kept us updated in a cheerful and fun manner. Tracy's commitment to Mum's well-being was evident not just during her paid hours but also in her willingness to go above and beyond to make sure Mum was looked after in the right way.

Eventually, it became necessary to move Mum into full-time residential care, which would likely have been much quicker without Tracy’s immeasurable impact. However, throughout the process Tracy's dedication and help making sure that Mum had the right clothes and personal items made a potentially very stressful and difficult time so much easier.

Tracy's dedication and kindness have had a profound impact on our family. Her efforts have brought us peace of mind and allowed us to cherish the happy times she spent with Mum. I wholeheartedly recommend Tracy for any role that requires compassion, dedication, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Hi everyone. There are just a few weeks to go until I start my bookings with Teresa Faith companion service. I would like to say a huge thank you for all the wonderful messages of support, and for sharing my flyer and spreading the word about my new business venture.
Following lovely chats with people who have made enquiries about the scope of the service, I would like to share some further information with you. Teresa Faith can be a regular weekly or monthly booking or as and when needed e.g. a hospital or hair appointment. If family members do not live locally and need me to pop in and check on a relative daily, that's all part of the service too. I can accompany clients to the theatre, church, charity events or evening classes, or keep them company at home. I can also provide a sitting service if a family member/carer needs to be away from home. During the winter months, if the weather is severe, I can check that people are warm, and eating and drinking enough, and keep in touch with families to reassure them that their loved ones are well. Teresa Faith companion service is all about having a trusted friend near by, ready to help and support as needed.
I look forward to helping you, or your relative to plan a unique enrichment package for the year ahead.

Welcome to my new small business, launching in January 2025!

Teresa Faith companion service is all about boosting self-esteem and general well-being in later years, and there are so many ways we can do this together. You may enjoy a trip to one of the many wonderful places of interest in our area, or a scenic drive along the coast. Maybe joining an exercise group or learning a new skill is what interests you. If you are happy and content to stay at home, and would just like some company, there are lots of fun activities we can do indoors like arts & craft, decorating cupcakes and writing stories. This service is all about spending quality time doing the things that bring you happiness.
Our first meeting will be to discuss your hobbies, interests and places you would like to visit (I have a lovely long list of ideas), and start creating an enrichment package just for you. Please contact me for information on prices.

My promotional flyers are being distributed around Great Ayton and Stokesley this week but I would also love to hear from anyone in the surrounding villages too.
