Layla and Sophie learnt about Auto-injector pens and how to use two different kinds - the Epi Pen and the Jext pen
Aged only 5 and 6 the girls, have been learning the basics in First Aid

Teach them young 🙌 last night Layla and her cousin practised the basics of CPR and use of a Defibrillator -making children aware of the basics of First Aid may help save a life, it could be your life as a parent in the home if something happened - for all the girls couldn't do the chest compressions 100% correctly, they now have knowledge of that to do aswell as being able to deliver rescue breaths and use a Defibrillator

Fantastic day teaching Paediatric First Aid today 🚑 the enthusiasm for learning was fantastic (especially with it being a Sunny Saturday and their usual day off) we covered so much from.CPR, use of Defibrillators, Spinal recovery and log rolls. Epi pens, Diabetes, head injuries, Anaphylaxis, plus much more, all to help keep the children and infants in their settings safe 🙌
