I help women who’ve put everyone else first for years reclaim their health so they can rediscover their energy and confidence, and feel more like themselves again, without hours in the gym, fads or guilt. I launched my personal training business in 2005 and within 3 years with no business knowledge, I was fully booked, delivering 40 – 50 60 min PT sessions a week. This meant when you added in the running of the business, I was regularly working 60 – 70 hour weeks. In those early days, I could manage that because I lived at home, mum and dad did everything for me, and I had no children! Fast forward to when I was married, Caitlyn and I had a home to look after, and we’d just had our first born Thomas I had a lot of plates to spin, and something had to give. What gave was me, I stopped looking after myself. I didn’t exercise, I ate a lot of junk food, lots of coffee and whiskey and by the time Thomas was 1 I’d piled on 3.5 stone, couldn’t get to the top of the stairs without being breathless and generally struggled to give my best to those I loved most. I needed to sort myself out, this is when I decided that diet and exercise alone wasn’t the answer. I needed to learn how to create real change in my life that was long lasting over those traditional peaks and troughs of ‘I’m on it’ or ‘I have no motivation to do it’. I’m Sorry, I Lied!

For a long time, I made health and fitness sound easy.

I told people they could get fitter, stronger, and feel better without really trading too much time or effort from other parts of their lives.

Here’s the truth…

It’s simple, but it’s not easy.

Something I’ve noticed over the years is that many clients struggle at first.

3 Months Left of 2025.

(15 days ago, I posted about 100 days to Christmas – be honest… have you actually done anything yet?)

That’s still enough time to drop 10kg.

That’s still enough time to feel fitter, stronger, and more energised.

That’s still enough time to look in the mirror on New Year’s Eve and actually like what you see.

But only if you start now.

Most people will wait until January.

They’ll say they’ll “get back on it” in the new year.

Truth is… January never saves you.

Ever been out with friends ...

Great food, drinks flowing, memories being made ...

Only to step on the scales after and feel frustrated?

The problem isn’t the night out.

It’s that you didn’t think about the trade offs before it happened.

When you know the trade offs upfront, a little slower progress on the scales, but a great time with people you care about, and you’re OK with that, there’s no guilt.
