✨Waiting for your baby to arrive can be hard. You might be feeling the pressure of being “overdue” or the weight of well-meaning check-ins from friends and family. Perhaps you're finding the later stages of pregnancy difficult to navigate, feeling concerned about your baby’s wellbeing, or simply just wanting to meet them.
✨Knowing that it’s normal for babies to arrive anywhere between 37 and 42+ weeks, and that your “due date” is very much just an estimate - calculated using outdated methods that don’t account for individual circumstances - can provide reassurance.
✨As you approach, and possibly pass, your "due date", there are gentle ways you can support yourself, including boosting your oxytocin, supporting your body with balance and stability, exploring your options around induction if the topic is raised (or should I say when it is raised!), and protecting yourself from outside noise and pressure.
✨Creating a sense of safety, feeling supported and reassured, gives your body the best chance for spontaneous labour to begin - at a time that’s right for you and your baby.
If you’d like to find out more about the support I offer, you’re welcome to explore my website, send me a message, or book a no-obligation connection call - links in bio. 🥰
