North Essex Sports massage is now offering:

✨Dry needling and medical acupuncture✨

Here’s some common questions I get asked by clients about the two:

What is the difference?
Dry needling is targeting tight knots in muscles.

Medical acupuncture is working with the Chinese system of meridian lines in treatments for tennis elbow, golfers elbow, fatigue and relaxation to name a few.

Why include this in your treatment?
Dry needling is perfect for stubborn knots in muscles. It saves time allowing for a deeper more effective treatment. The results being the removal of pain and dysfunction, bringing back strength and mobility.

Medical acupuncture can add an additional feeling of relaxation and gives the treatment another angle to be worked on.

Does it hurt?
Some people say they feel nothing, others feel slight discomfort, a muscle twitch and a dull achey sensation.

Is there an additional cost?
No, this can be added into any sports massage / deep tissue treatment for free!

Available @ Unique body clinic, Braintree and mobile treatments.
