I am sorry I have been quiet on here, but I have been busy on the road over the last few weeks working on film sets and events, delivering training to several clients and all the while studying at university.

Well yesterday I spent the day in the classroom completing the new street works supervisors course.

Am I changing career? No but as a health and safety advisor working on events, I now have a better understanding of the correct and legal layout out for temporary traffic management systems.

To event organisers, I now know why good traffic management is not cheap.

After a very early start this morning, I am now on my way home after an excellent day in the classroom, this time as a student.

I continued to work on my professional development plan today by attending the NEBOSH/HSE introduction to incident investigation course, while it not a new topic to me it is always nice to know that current methods are inline with industry standards and also a good opportunity for a bit of networking.

Highly recommend this course for anyone new to incident investigation.
