2025 has been a year of saying “yes” … even when it felt a little scary.
And honestly, it’s been one of the best things I’ve done for myself, both personally and professionally.

Stepping into new opportunities has shown me passions I didn’t realise I had… especially when it comes to helping people understand and manage TMJ/TMD pain.

I’ve just spent the past few days at the CSP Annual Conference , where I presented on with the wonderful Alex Weden. Being surrounded by the .tmd community, connecting with so many inspiring physios, and chatting all things jaw pain has been such a highlight.

I’m heading home feeling grateful, energised, and with my spark for developing TMD physio fully reignited.
Here’s to what 2026 has in store ✨

🚨News Alert 🚨
So great to see Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD – jaw pain) getting coverage in the press! Especially when it helps demystify the lesser-known symptoms that many people don’t always connect!

👉 Did you know? Over 50% of people with TMD also experience headaches 😮
That’s because the muscles of the jaw and neck can refer pain into the head, often reproducing those classic tension-type headaches.

Big thanks to for shining a light on this important topic 👏

✨ Next step? Let’s highlight the role of physiotherapy in conservative TMD management — helping countless people avoid more invasive options like Botox. 💪

👋 Meet Sully the Skull! 💀
He is making his first appearance in clinic this morning.

I finally decided it was time to bring in some props to help explain jaw movement and function—and Sully’s the perfect assistant.

🧠 Education is such an important part of treatment for jaw pain. When patients understand what’s going on, they recover faster and often end up doing half my job for me! 😉

Excited for Sully to help make things a little clearer (and maybe a bit more fun) in clinic.

🎉 Today marks 1 year of Midlands Jaw Physiotherapy🎉

What a year it’s been! I’ve had the absolute pleasure of meeting and helping so many wonderful patients, and I’m so grateful for all the support from other amazing clinicians along the way. 💙

This year I also completed my certificate in independent prescribing, which means I can keep developing the care I provide and continue to grow the practice for you.

It’s been a year of learning, growing, and making a difference – and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings! ✨

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far 💙🙏
