As someone who has always loved music in it's many forms the experience of when I had my first 'Soundbath' was a true game-changer, the way that the gentle and immersive sounds affected your mind, body and energy field is truly something to behold. One of the best ways to describe it, is like having a 'sonic massage', it goes deep, and affects you in a positive way, on all levels, leaving you deeply relaxed and feeling completely calm and rejuvenated. On top of this, I have always been very open and inquisitive about alternative therapies and how they can help you, including reiki, and other types of beneficial means of wellbeing and energy related practices, which when combined, work so well together. I am also an 'Earth Element' so, being so grounded and at one with the earth and nature, so for me connecting with the sounds, resonance and vibration of the instruments I use, including Didgeridoo, Shamanic drums, Himalayan & Crystal singing bowls and the peaceful sounds of the Hand-Pan, as well as many more, feels totally natural. I particularly love hosting group sessions, as when you get a group of people coming together, within a space, it can be so empowering & enriching when it is a shared experience. Each session is tailored to the requirements of the group, often combined with Reiki energy filling the space and assisting you to bring balance back in to your life and improve your wellbeing As well as group sessions I also hold space one to one, where I work with you, to assist in transcending any blockages, assisting with self limiting beliefs, as well as mental, physical, emotional and energetic disturbances, that may be disrupting your energy flow and holding you back from your true purpose on your journey through life.
I have a wealth of knowledge in each of these aspects of wellbeing, both from personal life experiences, as well as having previously worked for small and large corporate businesses, primarily within the hospitality sector. The impact that these modalities of wellbeing have had upon me, have been profound, so I understand well, the significant benefits that each of these practices can have upon you, both personally and professionally, whatever your situation and circumstances in life.
As a practitioner, it is profoundly important to me, that I hold space for you in a professional and compassionate way, so that I can assist you on a journey that will aid in the healing of your mind, body and spirit, whether this be on a mental, physical, emotional or spiritual level, helping to return you to a positive state of health and wellbeing. The services I offer centre around connection, whether that be on an individual basis or within a group setting. Working with you in a supportive and non - judgemental way, compassion, consideration and support is at the heart of everything I do.
Sound therapy can be tailored to your requirements, whether this be as an individual or in a group, school, corporate or healthcare setting. Sessions are available as a means of simple relaxation through to much deeper transformation, to assist in ones individual journey or as a team building experience, retreats, private gatherings & events, talks and workshops.
Reiki sessions are available on an individual basis, as well as in a group situation, whether it be in person or in the form of distance healing. Mindfulness and Meditation generally form a part of the Sound Therapy sessions on offer, but can also be arranged as a separate experience tailored to your requirements. Didgeridoo workshops are available for individuals or in a group setting, whether it be for a school workshop or corporate team building session and other private events as a light hearted and fun activity. I have always loved music, whether it is just to be sat there listening, or playing instruments of my own. The first instrument that I really found I had an affinity with was the didgeridoo, I fell in love with the gentle sounds of this ancient instrument, a tribal instrument known to be thousands of years old. I bought my first didge when in my late teens and have amassed so many since, including making my own beautiful didgeridoos out of Ash, Birch and Blackthorn wood, with a lot of love and care going into each and every creation. The didgeridoo is not the only instrument though, of course, I added to these, with the Native American Flute, Hand Pan, Singing Bowls and many more. I often came across them at various festivals and for one reason or another, I just had to have one, not knowing the real reason as to why. I am an ‘Earth’ sign and having experienced Soundbaths before at some of these festivals, I found them to be so therapeutic, grounding and relaxing, many times, taking me on such a deep and meditative journey. So knowing the profound effect that sound can have upon the Mind, Body and Soul, it dawned on me that I could use these amazing instruments, to create a real and beautiful ‘Journey Through Sound’ of my own and so I set up ‘SoundJourneybyChristian’ to bring the energy and love of these sounds, as well as their healing power and spiritual energy to the masses.
I am a member of the Complementary Medical Association and a fully qualified and fully insured Sound Therapist/ Sound Healer and Reiki Practitioner based in North Yorkshire. I host regular group soundbaths across Yorkshire and beyond, I also offer sessions for 1to1 Sound Therapy/ Healing, 1to1 Reiki sessions at various venues, or I can come to your home, Corporate Wellbeing Sessions, School Wellbeing Sessions, Private Group Events and Retreats.

Sound Therapy/ Healing
The predominant instruments that I work with are Didgeridoo, Himalayan Singing Bowls, Shamanic Drums, Native American Flutes and Hand-Pan, plus during 1to1 sessions, I also work with Tuning Forks.
Sound Therapy and Sound Healing is recognised for the profound effect it can have on your wellbeing. Whether it be through the vibration that flows from the instruments through your aura or bio-field to the direct effect upon the cells of your body, or the interaction and effect that sound has upon the brainwaves. As well as enabling you to feel more relaxed and rejuvenated, I will hold space for you and support you on a journey that will aid in the healing of your mind, body and soul, helping to return you to a positive state of health and wellbeing.
Reiki Healing
Reiki is ‘Universal Life Force Energy’, it works by channeling positive energy into your body by the means of hands on healing, connecting with the client and their aura, energy is channeled through, to bring healing to where it is needed most. Reiki enables the re-alignment of the chakras and helps to clear any blockages that may be in existence, enabling the client to return to a state of relaxation and optimum health and wellbeing.
Didgeridoo Workshops
Learn to play the Didgeridoo. A great opportunity for kids and adults alike, to experience playing and learning about this ancient tribal instrument.' Whether it be as a fun activity during school, or an after school event, 1to1 tutorship, or as part of a team building exercise, this is a great way to feel inclusive and learn about this amazing, tribal instrument, known to be thousands of years old and an important part of the aboriginal culture.
The services I offer are all about creating space for you, connecting with the client to aid in and offer support on a meaningful yet professional level, so that you can gain the most out of your experience and journey, helping you to release any emotional or physical blockages, that may be holding you back, returning you to a deep sense of peace and tranquility, and optimizing your general health and wellbeing.
I have a deep sense of pride in what I do, and I love every moment of it. Knowing that I have helped ease the pressure for someone who may be going through a difficult time, creating that time and space for them to rest, rejuvenate and release, or just to gift someone that opportunity to truly take some time-out for themselves in a relaxed and comfortable environment. To see the difference I have made in someones life is so heartwarming and brings a smile to my face.
