Hi lovely people 🤍

I’m a local Yoga Nidra facilitator, and I’m exploring something new for the community.

I’m considering offering online Yoga Nidra sessions for teenagers (ages 14–16) who are preparing for GCSEs - a calm space to switch off, sleep better, and ease stress during exam season.

If you’re a parent of a teen, work with young people, or know a family who might benefit, I’d really value your input. This short form takes about one minute and will help me understand whether this support is needed locally and how best to shape it.

No commitment at all, just gathering interest for now 🌿

Thank you for helping me create something supportive for young people during a pressured time 🤍

Today I wore this badge with quiet pride 🤍

I spent a few beautiful hours volunteering as a doula at Babyzone Edgware, surrounded by pregnant women, new mums, babies, laughter, music, and plates full of seriously good food. It didn’t feel clinical or formal. It felt warm, alive, and deeply human.

There was dancing. Bumps were being cradled. Tiny babies passed between arms. Women sharing stories, worries, tips, and moments of pure joy. That powerful sense of you’re not alone in this.

I was there to hold space, answering questions, offering reassurance, listening, celebrating, and sometimes just being a calm presence in the room. Support doesn’t always look like appointments and checklists. Sometimes it looks like community, warmth, and someone saying, “You’ve got this.”

Spaces like this matter so much. Every family deserves somewhere to land, to exhale, to be seen.

Honoured (and humbled) to serve as a doula in the community today 🤍

With Love ❤️

Parenthood holds so much.
Love, joy, fear, grief, overwhelm, gratitude.
Sometimes all at once.

During pregnancy and after birth, the nervous system is already doing a lot of work. Add sleep deprivation, responsibility, identity shifts, and pressure to cope, and it makes sense that things can feel tangled inside.

As a doula and Yoga Nidra facilitator, I see again and again how rest creates space. Not to fix. Not to bypass. But to soften, regulate, and remind parents that they are not failing for feeling deeply.

All feelings are valid.
You do not need to earn rest.
You are allowed to pause.

Today, and every day, parent mental health deserves care.

Parent Mental Health Day is marked every year on 30 January, highlighting the importance of emotional wellbeing for parents and carers.
