The Oakleaf Group Oakleaf Care (Hartwell) Ltd (trading as The Oakleaf Group) was founded in 2004. We are a specialist in Brain Injury Rehabilitation services.

The Oakleaf Group provide specialist services for men with complex neurological conditions and brain injury. The aim for every resident is to maximise their full potential for functional independence but also to consider their role in the family set-up and the wider community. Essentially the specialist team are committed and dedicated in helping to put the ‘whole person’ back together and are skilled in working together effectively as a ‘team’ to assist residents to achieve their goals as far as possible. Knowing and being clear about expectations has allowed Oakleaf to become widely recognised within the brain injury rehabilitation sector for providing an excellent service that meets the needs of service users, families and commissioners. The Oakleaf Group undergo regular inspections, both locally and nationally. In January 2019 Nene CCG inspected The Oakleaf Group’s services and subsequently scored 100% and in June 2018 Oakleaf (Hartwell site only) were awarded “Outstanding” status by CQC.

WINNERS! we only went and won....!
Super proud of The Oakleaf Team who scooped the Win for 'Complex Care Award' at the Stars of Social Care Awards on Saturday 21st June 2025 in London. Our fantastic Director Kathy Swannell (right) was also 'Highly Commended' in the Outstanding Director Award.
Fabulous night and great to be recognised for the achievements of the team.

WOW......The Oakleaf Team have been nominated for 3 awards! We are super excited and so very proud of the hard work and dedication of the staff.
We have been nominated as Finalists in the Great British Care Awards 2022 for "Care Team", Finalists for 'Specialist Care' in the Laing Buisson Awards 2022 and our Clinical and Operations Director Kathy Swannell has been nominated as a Finalist for "Lifetime Achievement in Care by the National Care Awards 2022.
Wish us luck! We will know later in the year if we win.
