Want to know the health benefits of your morning coffee? Maybe this research will make you want to start the day with a cup of coffee.

Cardiovascular Protection - Drinking one or two cups of coffee per day is said to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease-related death, according to a Japanese study.

Diabetes Defence - Between 1986 and 1998 Harvard researchers tracked coffee consumption and occurrence of type-2 diabetes of more than 40,000 men, they discovered that long term coffee drinkers had a significantly reduced risk of developing type-2 diabetes and the more they drank the lower the risk.

Weight Loss - If your focus is weight loss, researchers discovered that participants given coffee bean extract had undergone significant weight loss with 37.5% of them transitioning from being at a pre-obesity weight to a normal weight range.

Mental Note - You may be powerless to prevent ageing, but according to a recent study, coffee may be able to stop you losing your mental sharpness. Researchers discovered that participants who drank three to five cups of coffee per day had a 65% decreased chance of developing Alzheimers disease or dementia later on in life.

Try supersets for super results:

What is a superset?

Supersets are pairs of exercises put together. Complete the first set of the first exercise then move on and do one set of the next exercise without any rest, to complete one set.

What are the benefits of a Superset?

1. Supersets increase Lactic Acid production, which helps boost Growth Hormone (GH) levels in the body. The body responds to the reduced pH (increased acidity) in the body from the production of Lactic Acid by secreting GH. GH is a powerful fat loss and muscle building hormone.

2. Supersets are time-efficient. By doing sets back-to-back, you reduce your total workout time while still doing the same amount of total work. If you're in a hurry in your workout, Supersets can get you out of the gym faster.

3. Different Superset combinations can help increase muscle fiber activation. Essentially, this means you can use specific exercise combinations to increase the intensity of work on a specific muscle, helping to develop it faster.
