I am SO excited to invite you to my Christmas parties on Tuesday 16th December.

There are parties suitable for the tiniest of our Villagers in our Tiny Baby Party, our confident preschoolers in our Tiddlers and Toddlers Party and it wouldn’t be Mummas Village Festive Fun without the messy play exploration for our babies who have started weaning in our Music and Mess Party 🥰

Hello November ✨🍂

What a beautiful start to the new month this morning has brought, a real treat after the epic Halloween storm of last night! It may well take the whole of this month to dry us all out 😅

So, it’s a new month and somehow, it’s time for the last term of the year! I’m enjoying the last couple of days of half term with my boys before I’ll be getting back to class next week. There are still the last few spots up for grabs in some classes if you want to come and join in the fun.

November is always a busy one for us, lots of birthdays and the start of all the festive fun.

I always find it’s easy to let yourself get overwhelmed at this time of year, so I’m going to really try and find little pockets of time for some self care and make getting outside each day a priority - always more of a challenge at this time of year, but nothing a big coat and scarf can’t solve!

✨ The final term of 2025 ✨

Somehow, it’s time to get booking your spot on the final term of the year! How did that happen?! There’s a jam packed term of classes and some gorgeous Christmas parties in December on offer and spots are being snapped up!
Booking is currently open to those in class this term, but will open later this week to everyone on the waiting list.

🍂🍁🍄 Hello October 🍄🍁🍂

The second ‘ber’ month already….they’re just whizzing by!

It’s definitely feeling really autumnal now and it’s time to embrace the hygge this time of year leans towards as the days get shorter.

Let’s wrap up in big jumpers, dig out the hats, gloves and scarves, make a hot drink and get out for a gorgeous wander to take in all the beauty Mother Nature gives at this time of year.

🍽️ What’s for dinner? 🍽️

I remember thinking as a child that I couldn’t wait to be older because then I would be able to decide what I was having for dinner every day…..
I didn’t know how good I had it 🙈

I’m just making a meal plan and writing the shopping list for next week, and I’m in need of some inspiration of what we can have for dinner!

We’re back into the school routine so I’m keen to start this new academic year off with some exciting new recipes. Last week I cooked a yummy red lentil dahl from which I highly recommend and so I’m keen to add some more new ideas to our weekly meal plans.

So……what else should I be adding into our meal rotation? Any firm family favourites at your house that I can borrow?!

🌟 Good Luck 🌟

Whether it’s the very first, first day of school in Reception, a first day in a new year group or a first day in a new school, I’m sending lots of luck to you all!

I hope it’s a year of fun, friendship, kindness and laughter with a touch of learning for thrown in for good measure too!

Parents, I’m sending you a big hug. The start of a new school year is emotional, as we watch our tiny humans grow that little bit more and increase their independence.

🧡 Hello September 🧡

There’s a bittersweet feeling of the long summer days ending as the daily routines begin again while embracing all the beauty and cosiness the first of the ‘ber months brings with its arrival. It’s time for cosy jumpers, long scarves and lighting the darker evenings with candles. Maybe it’s because I’m an autumn baby myself, but I do love the cosy elements autumn brings.

Years of teaching have conditioned me to welcome September as another reset, as I got ready for a year of fun with my new class and now that continues as I get my boys ready for the next chapter in their school adventure.

For those of you with little ones starting school this month, I’m sending you a big hug and I’m so excited for you to see all the things they will learn - it’s magical to see 🤩

We’ve still got a few more days of freedom to enjoy though, as Teddy and I don’t go back to school until Friday and I’ve got next week to myself to try and get our lives and home organised ahead of this busy time of year before classes start back on September 16th.
