I’m looking for someone to join me on my food businesses to help them grow and reach as many people and as many avenues as possible and day to day running of it all 🔥

This person will need experience/knowledge in:

Cooking., social media., branding., marketing., the ‘healthy food’ industry., and anything else that will add to this position..

I’m in the beginning stages of rebuilding my business and the very near future is looking very VERY promising and exciting so will be a good roll for the right candidate with everyday being something different… Definitely not a Groundhog Day job 😅

Driving licence and transport is essential as we won’t be in 1 place for any long period of time and will be reaching out to multiple places daily 😎

My business offers the following services:

Healthy meal prep
Caribbean meal prep
Caribbean/soul food hot meals
Event catering
BBQ Chef
Seafood Boils
Deserts
Healthy Snacks
Smoothies
Caribbean Fresh Juices

So as said., there will be plenty to do and everyday won’t be the same 👨🏾‍🍳😎🔥

It will start off as a zero hour contract but your time will be paid for and as the business grows so will your hours.. There will also be opportunities for bonuses along the way 💪🏾🤑

I can FINALLY start taking orders again for Mikes Meals meal preps and pre cooked Mikes Delights Jamaican Meals 🙏🏾🔥

After over coming many hurdles over the last couple of years that I’ve had to face in and out of the business I am very happy to say I’ve secured a new kitchen in Eastbourne for me to be able to rebuild my business and dream from and in the best mindset and motivation I’ve ever been in and had in my life 🙏🏾

To get things going again I’ll be offering my balance meal preps @ just £4 a pot and my Caribbean meals @ just £6 both with a minimum order of 5..
PLEASE NOTE PRICES WILL BE ADJUSTED

ALL MEALS ARE COOKED WITH FRESH HEALTHY INGREDIENTS 👨🏾‍🍳

Delivery’s can be arranged for Eastbourne., Bexhill., Hastings and surrounding areas.. Delivery charge will apply depending on distance..

After yet another successful meet with Steve from the Dug out cafe last night 🔥 He’s now given me 4days consistent weekly use of his premises to do my Mikes Meals meal preps and my Mikes Delights collection/delivery service.. And with now a pre booked sit in service that will be on offer 🙏🏾👨🏾‍🍳🔥

I’m so so sooo excited for this and so very thankful and grateful for this amazing opportunity Steve has offered me and can’t wait to now get my meal preps back up and running consistently and get started on new ideas and recipes I’ve been eagerly waiting to do after being down for a while and build an amazing delightful menu to offer you all full of Jamaican., soul food., and other dishes to suit as many people as I can even with a kids menu added., cold refreshments and of course some yummy deserts 😋😋😋

I’m back in the kitchen this Saturday so keep an eye out for the menu that will be posted later today... You won’t be disappointed 🔥🔥🔥

Imagine I got contacted today and invited to a food exhibition in LONDON at the ExCel centre with FREE tickets for me and a guest., being my girl.., to attend the 2day event.!

To say I’m blessed and grateful for this is the very least I can say 🙏🏾

But., I did just have 1 question.... Is Stormzy going to be there.?? 🤷🏾‍♂️🙋🏾‍♂️👨🏾‍🍳💯🔥😅

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore. You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there just is no work life balance when starting a new business. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend...

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially this past year. Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient….. and hopefully more of us will stick around!

Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to close the doors on my business just over a year or so ago.. Sometimes things within life take over as much as you fight for them not to but TRUST ME the passion and love for my food business is next to no other and is 1 that will NEVER go out and I will never give up to take my business to its full potential and beyond.! I’m looking for 5 people to join me on a 4 week meal prep programme.. All supplied and designed by myself 👨🏾‍🍳

I start a new full time job on Monday so will be meal prepping for myself again., so why not bring a few of you along with me as well ☺️

What you’ll get:

•10 balanced meals
•5 overnight oat pots with a fresh fruit topping
•WhatsApp group for sharing your day to day eating routine., support from myself and others in the group., snack and meal ideas
•Weekly weigh ins., which can be shared or not with the group., whatever your comfortable with with full confidentiality
•will work off a 4week programme with a end goal set
•meal rotation so we won’t be eating the same thing over and over.. I’ve got plenty of tasty nutritious meals to do
•weekend and mid week deliveries so meals are always fresh 😋🔥

The cost is either £50 a week or a 1 off payment of £175..

The face behind the business.. Don’t be afraid of who you are.. Stand proud 🙏🏾❤️

So today I had the pleasure and privilege of taking part in an amazing project that Samuel George is putting together to help raise awareness for Mental Health.. Something that’s very close to my heart and a BIG impact within myself and my life since a young age for various reasons...
Losing my father at a young age and dreams shattered of ever meeting him., having my 1st baby at a young age who I’ve never ever left and never would or will but still a harder challenge under the circumstances I was up against but wouldn’t change her for anything in the world 🌍🙏🏾💗 Going to jail., losing my Mum to cancer and having to watch her go to the point of having to go in the coldest room I’ll EVER have to walk into to kiss her beautiful face goodbye.. And then my beautiful Grandad the same way 😔 Times that will haunt me forever.. Drug and alcohol addictions., suicidal thoughts., depression., anxiety.. It’s been a tough ride to say the least 😅 But I’m grateful and humbled for where I am to this day and haven’t got here alone.. I’m so proud to be a part of this project and am looking forward to seeing where it goes and the lives it touches in anyway.. Mental health is such a scary condition to have and place to be in within yourself., at some points you don’t know where it’s going to take you from 1 day to the next.! And some of those places can be so dark and scary you don’t think your going to come back from there.. But you know., you DO and CAN.! It’s far from easy but believe in yourself., admit there are problems and put your hand out.! I PROMISE you your far from alone.! 1 person could change your whole life.!

Today was the 1st time I spoke in front of a camera and photos taken., but it won’t be the last 💪🏾 when the camera was off I wouldn’t shutup lol.. soon as it was on., my mind went blank with what to say 🤯 But I got words out and I hope when it’s released it makes sense 😅
Please please I can’t stress enough.. If your someone reading this going through a dark time., feeling a bit wobbly., in between the dark and the light.. I promise you your not as alone as you may think.! Reach out.! There’s so much help., love and support out there.. Even from myself.. As busy as I am.. I’m now very happy to say I’m now back up and running 💪🏾 Only early days but I’m now taking orders and getting back in the swing of it all.

Sometimes in business things don’t go to plan., but that’s all part of it.. You get back up., brush yourself off and get back to it..
