An opportunity has arisen for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join our busy GP Practice. The ideal candidate will be first point of contact at reception so must have excellent
communication skills with a confident, courteous and friendly manner. Candidates ideally will have previous NHS / Healthcare experience and a good knowledge of medical terminology; however this is not essential as full training will be given.

Duties will include general reception work, efficiently dealing with appointments, prescriptions and enquiries, accurately maintaining and working with clinical data and patient records.

We have various shifts and hours available, up to a maximum of 35 hours per week and salary to be negotiated depending on experience. The preferred candidate must be willing to be flexible and cover additional hours when required.

*** Practice Nurse Vacancy ***

We are a small, friendly, supportive and caring, rural practice in Aberdeenshire. Due to retirement we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our team.

The hours of work will be 24 per week, although we would consider splitting the role for the right candidates.

Responsibilities will include venepuncture, ECG’s, injections, wound management, health screening, cervical screening, INR monitoring.

Experience of diabetic management and prescribing would be desirable but not essential as training could be provided.

The successful candidate should work well within a team, have good communication skills, able to deliver a high standard of clinical care and be willing to learn. The candidate will be RGN and registered with the NMC.

Handyman / Gardner
£8.50 per hour

Cruden Medical Group is looking for a reliable and hardworking handyman / gardener to maintain the grounds at both Hatton and Cruden Bay Surgeries.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the grass cutting and tidying of the gardens at both surgeries. The position will also include general handyman jobs around and within the surgery premises.

The hours required will depend on the time of year. During the summer months the grounds will need attended to fortnightly and this will be reduced to two monthly during the winter periods. General handyman jobs within the surgery will be requested by the Practice as required.

The salary for the position will be set at £8.50 per hour.

An opportunity has arisen for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join our busy GP Practice. The ideal candidate will be first point of contact at reception and should be able to demonstrate a high standard of communication and inter-personal skills as they will be required to interact in a mature and confidential manner with patients, staff and the general public on a regular basis.

Duties will include general reception work, efficiently dealing with appointments, prescriptions and enquiries, accurately maintaining and working with clinical data and patient records.

Hours of work will be 16 hours per week with a remuneration as per Scottish Apprenticeship Scheme. The preferred candidate should be willing to be flexible and cover additional hours when required.

A condition of appointment to this 2 year Modern Apprenticeship post (Training Contract) will require the post holder to complete and achieve their Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration at SCQF Level 2.

In line with Skills Development Scotland ‘Developing the Young Workforce: Scotland’s Youth Employment Strategy’ this post is open to 16 – 19 year olds only.
