I'm not my best in Winter; if hibernation were socially acceptable, I’d happily disappear from November to March every year.
But come Spring, just a bit of sunshine, it's still light at tea time, and it feels like someone has flicked my "on switch."
So, if Spring brings feelings of optimism and energy, why do we try to overhaul our lives in gloomy, grey January every year??
Spring is so much easier. You may have already found yourself instinctively reaching for lighter, fresher flavours, feeling a lot more sociable, and motivated to clear out things that no longer serve you at home.
To me, it makes sense that Spring is such a good time for a reset, when it's just that bit easier, and going with nature rather than battling against it.
