How about when we're thinking about ways to make meals healthier, we look at what we can add in rather than leave out❓😱

A handful of frozen peas, a jar of artichokes, and my trusty pumpkin seeds, mean a simple 20-minute pasta and pesto packs more protein, fibre, prebiotics, more vitamins and minerals, and I'm full so I won't want to snack before bed 💤

Sounds like a win, and all came from the cupboard/freezer 🎖️

🌸🌸 FREDA NEEDS YOU 🌸🌸

Little Freda was the last of her litter, she was waiting for adoption and then Parvovirus hit the centre.

This meant that she was left in foster for another 2 months, Freda is now 6 months old and because she’s older than a 12 week old kitten she is being overlooked.

❓What does a Health Coach eat❓

We all have those weeks, the ones that are tricky to plan for, lots of socialising, and eating out... the dreaded buffet, and restaurants that weren't your choice...

There was a time where dreading it, I'd have eaten before I went to these things, to maintain control around calories, then inevitably, eat whatever was on the buffet too.

Nowadays I do my best to make nutritious choices from what's available, thinking about the good stuff in food rather than just calories.

Last night I enjoyed a gut-friendly feast of blue cheese and olives with probiotics and polyphenols, the onions and artichokes for prebiotic fibre 🫒

Practically health food 😉

I wonder what tomorrow's menu will bring...
