Let’s get one thing straight-
birth has never been an ideology.
It’s not a theory, a belief system, or a lifestyle choice.
It’s biology. At the very basics 🫤
A primal, physiological process that existed long before policy, protocol, or permission.
But somewhere along the way, the system forgot that.
It turned biology into bureaucracy-
and women into passengers in their own stories.
Politicians in suits and tie’s debating over it, but never truly understanding…having opinions over it when simply have no right to speak on the subject!
Especially when they choose to ignore their complicit role in removing the very safety they are claiming to uphold by chronically underfunding, undermining & systemically stripping away the ability of the services designed to care for the people with the uterus (uterí 🤔)
So, call it what you like:
Radical? Rebellious?
Or just responsible woman-centred care?
You decide.
We shouldn’t need to battle politicians for permission.
No more one-size-fits-all protocol.
Just evidence-based, relationship-led, safely supported birth choices where your voice actually means something.
This isn’t ideology.
It’s biology.
Physiology.
A passionate right that women deserve to experience!
And it’s my life’s work.
