💥 Muscle is the only organ system we can directly control 💥 And during menopause, it matters more than ever.

From early perimenopause to post-menopause, women can lose up to 10% of their muscle mass – leading to poor balance, weaker bones, slower metabolism & even brain fog. 😣

But here’s the good news 👉
Muscle is your menopause power tool. 💪

✅ Supports bone health
✅ Boosts metabolism
✅ Prevents falls
✅ Builds brain resilience

In the LIFTMOR trial, postmenopausal women doing high-intensity training like squats & deadlifts gained 3% bone density in 8 months. Fast. Proven. Life-changing.

🚫 Let’s bust the myth that strength training makes women bulky.
✨ Muscles are a girl’s best friend. ✨

As a trained coach — I have the evidence-based knowledge to train menopausal women with confidence to train midlife women through the changes that come with oestrogen loss — physically and psychologically. 🙌

Stronger, Healthier, Happier—Without Punishment or Restriction
Menopause isn’t a stop sign—it’s a transition. And while the changes can feel frustrating—sleep struggles, weight gain, low energy—you don’t have to fight against your body to feel better.
Forget extreme diets, punishing workouts, and the pressure to "push through." Thriving in midlife is about building strength, resilience, and habits that genuinely support the life you want to live.
💡 Movement that energizes, not exhausts
💡 Nutrition that nourishes, not deprives
💡 Mindset that builds confidence, not guilt
You CAN feel strong, capable, and vibrant in your body again. The key? Sustainable, compassionate strategies designed for where you are right now—not where you used to be.
Let’s talk about how you can reclaim your energy, support your body’s changes, and step into this stage of life feeling powerful.
🔥 Are you ready to train smarter, not harder? Let’s build a plan that works for YOU. Drop a comment, send me a message, or reach out today!

The positive association between exercise, the brain, and perimenopausal women's mental health should not be ignored.
Research has shown that a lack of activity may cause negative impacts on mental wellbeing including reduced confidence and self worth, but also cognition and working memory.
We need to remember that life is not very long and passes quickly. Often women put off exercise for so long until they reach midlife and then 'cant believe where the time has gone.
The biggest barrier to overcome is women's fear to exercise, whether it's because of their perception of exercise settings not being for them, due to loss of confidence in their body image, their ability, fear of injury, or chronic menopause symptoms.
As a menopause coach I am educated about the multi-faceted complexities of menopause and how it impacts women's ability to exercise. I am equipped to help women find solutions for enjoying their journey to a healthier, more active life.
Finding the joy of movement will make women stronger, happier and healthier! &

The benefits of strength training for women are immense 💪 Strength training helps improve a woman’s overall health in numerous ways. It can also lessen their risk for conditions unique to them such as osteoporosis after menopause.

The benefits of strength training include a decreased risk of:
💥 Heart problems, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol and stroke
💥 Diabetes and blood sugar regulation
💥 Boosts cognitive function and protects brain health
💥 Certain cancers due to maintaining a healthy weight
💥 Bone thinning and osteoporosis, particularly after menopause
💥 Common urinary issues
💥 Injury due to falls

Strength training also benefits women by helping to:
💪 Manage weight and increase metabolism
💪 Enhance the quality of life and help you maintain independence as you age
💪 Manage chronic conditions like arthritis or back pain
💪 Boost mental health and sharpen thinking skills
💪 Improve sleep quality
💪 Relieve pain, improve posture and balance
💪 Improves balance and mobility lowering the chance of fractures and falls

A woman’s pelvic floor muscles can weaken and cause problematic symptoms over time. Strengthening the pelvic floor can help with urinary incontinence or leaking, vaginal issues and bowel movement problems. Strength training and resistance exercises can help strengthen the pelvic floor and work to tighten the affected muscles. Because specific exercises can make certain condition worse, it’s important to work with a fitness professional or pelvic health physiotherapist who has experience with the condition.
