And just like that we become 4👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Elias William Blackwell welcome to our family. 💙Born 5/9/20 at 9.28am 8lb1oz proof that due dates are just an estimate. So grateful to the amazing for supporting Cerys with the prospect of induction and to all the xmas babies that meant she was last on the list cos this little man made his way into the world on his own in his own way! You cannot tell a Blackwell what to do 😂

What’s your deal with coffee? I cut it out of my diet for so long but with working long days again it crept back in so I have tried some decaf this week and will be getting back into the herbal teas.
-
Coffee is a staple for most and can give you a boost but it also drains you meaning you keep needing another cup through the day.
-
I definitely felt my best energy wise when I was off the coffee and drinking a range of good quality herbal teas. 🙌🏼

A weekend well spent! Lots of daddy and Noah time! Looking forward to a few days away at the caravan this week too. I have lots to do but we need this little break before our other dude comes! I often would feel guilty and worry over taking time away from work but I’ve learnt that you have to take a step back on times and take some time out for yourself! Working yourself to the ground is not good on you or your family. Remember it’s the journey and not the destination. Goals and deadlines are great but you have to balance everything and be able to let go at times 🙌🏼

Tonight’s meal! Spiced lamb, cucumber pickle and brown rice.
We enjoy experimenting to create our own meals but with a project to complete, a heavily pregnant wife and a toddler we thought we would try out recipe boxes after reading about their commitment to helping others lead a healthy life and their believe in reducing intake of sugar and refined carbs. As a result, their recipes never deliver pasta, bread or white rice - instead all their recipes are based on innovative uses of fresh vegetables and great meats. Everything is mindfully sources and it’s great to read about so many of their local suppliers on their website. Highly recommend. This meal was so tasty, the recipe was easy to follow, the ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality!
