💭 Trigger Foods – Know Yours 😔
We all have those foods that call our name — the ones that start with “just a bite” and end with “where did it all go?” 🙈

These are our trigger foods — the ones that make us overeat, feeling guilty afterwards, and often lead to a little gain on the scales. For some, it’s chocolate or crisps for me… for others, it’s cheese, bread, or a glass of wine that turns into a bottle! 🍫🧀🍷

The truth is, it’s not about banning foods — it’s about understanding what triggers you.
When you know your trigger foods, you can plan around them: ✨ Keep them out of the house (out of sight, out of mind!)
✨ Find a healthier swap that still hits the spot
✨ Save them for a special occasion when you can truly enjoy them, guilt-free

Remember: awareness = power 💪
You’re not “weak” for having trigger foods — you’re human.
Knowing them helps you stay in control and staying on plan.

My Favourite Place to Be!

I can honestly say the Belmont Slimmers 7pm group is like a second family. I used to absolutely dread weigh-ins every week. Even after reaching my TARGET. I would put all the weight back on again. But that’s completely changed for me, thanks to this incredible group. Everyone is so supportive, kind, and uplifting. Ive been going through a hard time and theyve all picked me up. The atmosphere is always positive and full of laughter, and you leave every session feeling motivated and proud.

It’s not just about the numbers on the scales. it’s about friendship, encouragement, and celebrating every little success together. I genuinely look forward to going to group every week. Thank you to everyone at Belmont Slimmers 7pm group for making this such a special place! 💕

Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s in each and how to keep them guilt-free:

Idea:
Use fat-free Greek yogurt or low-fat cream cheese mixed with a drop of sweetener instead of peanut butter for a lighter “glue.”

🍌 Banana Ghosts & Clementine Pumpkins
Ingredients:

Bananas, halved (for ghosts)

Dark chocolate chips (for eyes and mouth)

Clementines or tangerines (for pumpkins)

Small celery or cucumber sticks (for pumpkin stems)

Slimming World tips:

Bananas and clementines = Free Foods

A few chocolate chips = minimal syns (about 1 syn per tsp)

Totally on-plan and fun for kids and adults alike!

🍎 Apple Monster Mouths (Slimming World Style)
Ingredients:

1–2 apples (sliced into wedges) — Free Food

PB powder (mixed with water to a spreadable consistency) — about 1–1.5 syns per tablespoon

Mini marshmallows (for “teeth”) — about 0.5 syn each

Instructions:

Mix PB powder with a little water until creamy.

Spread a thin layer on one apple slice.

Line up mini marshmallows along the edge for teeth.

Press another apple slice on top to form the “mouth.”

Optional: Add a little red food coloring or a slice of strawberry “tongue” for fun!

Slimming World breakdown:
✅ Apples — Free
✅ PB powder — ~1 to 1.5 syns per tbsp (depending on brand)
✅ Mini marshmallows — 0.5 syn each

Total per treat: Around 2–3 syns, depending on how many marshmallows and PB you use.
