We are a society where we often hear I need those trainers or that handbag. Actually you don't. You can live without chocolate or coffee. You don't need your phone to survive. A designer branded item is to fit in with or one up your peers. Time for a reality check people. Many do not even have fresh water or food. Freedom to be who you are and to love who you want is not universal. The right to choose what is done to your body is not there for everyone. Count your blessings, rethink your values and fight for other people's rights.

If we pull our phone out time and again and keep expecting it to work without ever putting it on charge there will come a time when nothing will happen. We need to remember that working with spirit is the same we need to recharge the batteries and check the connection by sitting in the silent reflection that enables this.

People are all different and we have our preconceived notions and unconscious bias that impact the way we see things. No one person has exactly the same point of view of an event because of this. Viewpoints also depend on how closely involved you are in a situation. Expectations of people are also impacted. All of this is before you add in emotions and feelings. Is it any wonder then that we over complicate and confuse when we should be simplifying. In politics and government, in organisations and in our own lives. If you or they can break things down to problem, resolution and implementation perhaps things would be different. Perhaps that means recognising some fault or some refusal to change. We have to grow as people and sometimes for those with power
that would mean showing that everything was built from a false premis and power means more to them than personal growth.
