The one person I forgot to introduce…..me! 🤦‍♀️

I’ve been so busy shouting about our incredible team that I completely missed the founder’s intro!

I’m Laura the face behind Onya Pilates. I’m Hexham-based and my goal was to create a reformer studio environment where clients feel comfortable, welcomed but challenged all at the same time. Onya is a reformer Pilates studio growing on the community spirit of, “Good onya”—an authentic, Aussie-style nod to showing up, having a go, and celebrating every win, big or small. At Onya, we hit the springs hard, but keep the welcome soft. It’s a space for real people to get stronger, feel comfortable, and truly belong.

As the New Year brings with it reflection, I’m so proud of what’s been built here in the heart of Hexham and looking forward to some exciting new things in the New Year🥂

G,day mates!
A little studio update 🫶🏻

As most of you are aware, as I haven’t shut up about it in the studio!🤣🤦🏼‍♀️Me and my gang will be heading to Australia to see our family. It wasn’t on the cards to go away this year with the launch of Onya, but life’s to short, as some of you keep saying in the studio😋

The schedule may look a little different for a few weeks, but the lovely instructors in the studio will still be delivering your favorite classes and most of the regular times.

There might even be a glimpse of a holiday practice via our ONYA socials, no rest for the wicked! I’ll hopefully be heading back refreshed and even more inspired!

Reformer Pilates is for every body, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. It’s a low-impact workout that builds strength, balance, and mobility in a supportive way and more importantly, it can be fun! As demonstrated here by my family 😄

Starting September strong 💪🏻

Our brand new Postnatal reformer classes start the 9th Sep

The 45 minute classes are designed and planned to help your postnatal recovery, the classes will help to rebuild strength, reconnect with your core and improve posture. Whilst all the while bonding with your baby and making new Mummy friends.

At Onya we know the importance of community and that’s what we want to create with you new Mothers and Babies.

👶🏼 Babies in arms should be none mobile- for health and safety (prams, car seats or on mats)

👶🏼 6 week program

👶🏼Suitable for Mama’s who have been cleared by their Doctors at 8-12 weeks postpartum
