Yesterday we had the joy of celebrating Paula’s 72nd birthday, and what a wonderful day it was! 💐✨ Paula’s smile lit up the room as we sang, shared cake, and shared stories from her many adventures. She’s always spreading kindness and laughter, and we’re so lucky to have her in our community. 💖

🇬🇧 Remembrance Parade 2025 🇬🇧

Today, residents from Brewster House proudly joined the local Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Brownies, and Guides for the annual Remembrance Parade. ❤️

It was a moving morning of reflection and gratitude as generations came together to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. Our residents loved seeing the young people marching with such respect and pride — a wonderful reminder of community spirit and remembrance across the ages. 🌺

We will remember them.

🎃🎉 A Joint Birthday and Halloween Celebration at Brewster House! 🎉🎃

This Halloween, Brewster House threw a spooktacular birthday party for residents, Alfred and John, who both share Halloween birthdays! 🥳

Lifestyle Coordinator Leoni reached out online for a singer, and thanks to the amazing David Randall Foundation, they were able to welcome the incredible singer Ellie-Rose, who made the day even more magical! 🎶

🪵🐦 Woodwork Wonders! 🐦🪵

Our residents and staff rolled up their sleeves today for a fantastic woodwork session — and the results are already shaping up beautifully! 🛠️✨

From measuring and sanding to hammering and chatting, everyone got stuck in as we started creating our very own bird boxes. 🏡❤️ We can’t wait to see our feathery friends move in once they’re finished!

A big thank-you to everyone who took part — teamwork, laughter, and a little sawdust made for the perfect afternoon! 🌳😊

🇺🇸 Stars, Stripes, and Smiles! 🇺🇸

Our Brewster House residents enjoyed a fantastic outing today at the Bungalow Diner for an American-themed lunch! 🍔🥤🍟

From classic burgers and fries to delicious milkshakes, there were plenty of happy faces and full stomachs all around. 😋 Everyone loved the fun, retro atmosphere — it felt like stepping right into the heart of the USA! ❤️💙

A big thank you to the team at Bungalow Diner for their warm welcome and wonderful service. We can’t wait for our next visit! 🌟

Today we celebrated a truly special milestone with our wonderful Brewster House resident, Alfred, who turned 88 years young! 🥳

Alfred was all smiles (and maybe a few happy tears) as he shared how loved and cherished he felt surrounded by friends, staff, and well-wishers. 💕 His joy and gratitude filled the room and reminded us all what community and connection are all about.

🎃👻 Spooky Fun at Brewster House! 👻🎃

What a fantastic day we’ve had celebrating Halloween and our residents’ birthdays here at Brewster House! 🧡🕸️ The atmosphere was full of laughter, music, and smiles as everyone joined in the fun — costumes, decorations, and plenty of treats!

A huge thank you to the amazing Ellie Rose for entertaining us with her beautiful singing — you truly made the day extra special. 🎶✨

And of course, an enormous thank you to the David Randall Foundation for their support. Your generosity helps us create these joyful moments for our residents and staff — we’re so grateful! 💖
