🎄💚 Helfy Elf’s Christmas Kindness — Day 13! 💚🎄

Today, our “Helfy Elf” Elsie has been thinking about being community conscious 🤝 and shining a light on something that’s especially important at this time of year — homelessness. 🏠❄️

Elsie saw the amazing story of Liam and his buddies, who are raising money for the incredible team over at West End Impact 🙌 — real community heroes who give warmth, food, safety, and support to those who need it most. ❤️
Liam and his buddies choosing to do something small, but meaningful.
they will be sleeping out on the streets of 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 for one night on 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫.

🎅🚫 Elsie the Helfy Elf’s Festive Message on Day 12 : DON’T DRINK OR DRUG DRIVE! 🚫🎅
This one’s simple, but it could save lives ❤️
As the parties 🎉, nights out 🍻 and celebrations 🎄 roll in — remember:
👉 If you drink or take drugs, don’t drive.
👉 If you drive, don’t drink or take drugs.
🚔 Operation Limit is running across the UK this December, aiming to stop drug and drink-related tragedies 💔
Last year alone, police carried out over 2,000 breath tests and made 314 arrests for drink and drug driving 🚨 — and sadly, that number keeps rising 😔

💭 Men aged 20–39 make up more than half of all offenders — often still over the limit the morning after!

So please…

🙏 Don’t be tempted. Don’t risk it.

This one’s all about something that affects every GP surgery and every frustrated patient who needs an appointment but cant get one… ❌ WASTED APPOINTMENTS! 😞

In October alone, Bay Medical Group had 811 missed appointments 😱 — that’s 811 chances for someone else to get the medical care they needed 💔

Do you know what to do if someone collapses and isn’t breathing? 🤔
Think Vinny Jones style — hands-only CPR to the beat of “Stayin’ Alive” 🕺🎵 (those adverts he did were great!).
💪 But you don’t have to be a superhero to save a life — just knowing the basics could make all the difference.

📆 Closure Date: Saturday 27th December 2025 at Morecambe Health Centre

We appreciate your understanding during this closure and we will be open again as usual on Monday 29th December at 8am and will resume our Saturday service on Saturday Jan 3rd as normal
