After celebrating International Women’s Day this weekend, let’s carry that focus on women’s wellbeing into the week ahead.

If you’re aged 25–64 and have received your cervical screening invitation letter, this is a great time to book your appointment. Screening is quick, routine and one of the most effective ways to prevent cervical cancer.

We know many people put it off - life is busy, and it’s normal to feel unsure - but our team is here to help you feel supported and prepared.
✔ Friendly, trained nurses
✔ You can request more time
✔ We’re happy to answer any questions

If you have your letter, please book your appointment by contacting reception.

A small step today can protect your health for years to come. 💛

The campaign promotes:
✔️ STI prevention and testing (particularly for those under 25)

Ramadan Mubarak to all observing 🌙

As we begin the holy month of Ramadan, we would like to offer our best wishes to our patients, staff and our wider community.

For individuals living with diabetes, fasting can present specific health risks, including changes in blood glucose levels. Diabetes UK provides clear, evidence‑based guidance to support people in making informed decisions about fasting and how to do so safely where appropriate. You can access their detailed advice on their website:

We wish all who are observing a peaceful and healthy Ramadan.

While it's on your mind, just tap the NHS App, and get it off your to-do list.

On Wednesday 21 January from 1pm, our GPs will be attending a Sussex‑wide training event.

The practice will stay open only for pre‑booked nurse appointments and minor ops.

➡️ No GPs will be on site from 1pm.
➡️ Phones will be switched off – ABC will be providing cover.
➡️ Doors will be closed but unlocked for patients with booked appointments.

If you need urgent help during this time, call the practice number and you’ll be put through to the cover team.
