I can't believe it's been so long since the New Moon and the first lovely ceremony in the yurt, yet it feels like yesterday! Times is really odd at the moment!! Or maybe it's just me that's odd!!
I just want to say so many thank yous for all of your supportive words this last two weeks. It's been quite a journey and i've at times felt like i was on the edge of the plug hole about to get sucked down into the abyss! But human kindness is a beautiful thing and it only takes a few words and a smile to remember the Love that we share. And I keep remembering to breathe deepy and trust, even though life is wobbly.
It feels wobbly for us all really, yet the wobblier it gets the more kindness I see everyhwere.
When Ruby did Art History I went on the journey with her and found it fascinating to see how humans moved through these dark times. Revolution and Renaissance following periods of dark control.
There are always cycles and i'm trying to drop into them trusting it's all always changing. It does feel like we're on a cusp of birth about 9cm dilated. Very squeezy, restricitive, painful, scary and exciting. And like in birth we have to keep that Oxytocon Love chemical up and breathe!! Resist staying in fear. Feel it but do it anyway!
It's all coming to the surface like a big spot that needs squeezing! A terrible analogy but you must admit there is nothing more satisfying then a big spot bursting! It's a bit messy for a while but it's way better out then in. It can feel uncomfortable to be witnessing such truths on a large scale, but it's far better then everything being brushed under the rug pretending it doesn't exist.
So while the world globally seems to be going even more bonkers, I'm going to keep going small and steady away in my garden! Small gatherings and staying connected, being in circle as we have always done for millenia, feels the most important thing to do right now.
Keeping connected and speaking from our hearts. Having some space and time to really listen and be heard.
It's the Full Moon on Sunday which is also called the Hunters Moon which follows Septembers Harvest Moon.
This name likely originated from the fact that this moon marked an ideal time go hunting for animals ahead of the long, cold winter.
Given that farmers had previously cleared out their fields following the harvest, animals would have been more easily visible and also with the extra light of the full moon.
So I'm holding another Sunday Circle on the 9th October. The times will always be the same now. I'm gonna get into the groove!!
Arriving from 2pm to land and let go. Have a cuppa and just relax up in the house. Bring a dish sweet or savoury for a pot luck share. I will make fresh soup and bread for us to have later in the evening.
3pm to the yurt where we will prepare and drink Cacao together and share what's going on for us, or just be held in a safe cosy space if that's all you want to do. Feel free to just flop and relax under a noo noo :-)
We will have a break about 5.30pm to feast together and then have some time to share our dreams and visions and blast them up through the yurt roof up into the stars!!
The ceremony will finish about 7pm and there will be a lovely big fire if you want to stay on and watch the stars into the night.
This Circle will be for both men and women as it feels so important to be in circle with men. We're all in this together, so please men don't be scared! It would be amazing to have you there. We bloody well need you we do!!! It's all about balance!!
The Sunday Circles aren't going to be deep processing experiences, more of a beautiful way to end the week and prepare for the new one ahead. Sharing food and just listening to each other in circle is incredibly special. A chance to fill your cup back up and nourish your Soul ready for the bonkers world!
The cost of the afternoon and evening is Β£35 and there are 7 places.
I am based near Castle Howard just off the A64. 5 miles from Malton. It's in a beautiful area if you wanted to explore beforehand. Take a trip to the beach and have a plunge in the sea first!!
If you'd like to come and play please drop me a message and send payment to secure a place.
Sending so much love and once again thank you,
I keep feeling braver and bolder every day in this new life i find myself.
And if I don't see you at this one there'll be more over the coming Sundays.
The next will be:
Menopause Purple Tent Circle Sunday 23rd October
Mens Circle Sunday 30th October
Much love and the hugest of hugs,
Nicky ###
