Why choose reflexology? 👣💫

Because your body already knows how to heal — sometimes it just needs a little nudge.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that works on specific pressure points in the feet (and hands) that correspond to the whole body. By stimulating these points, reflexology helps to:

✨ Reduce stress and tension
✨ Improve circulation
✨ Support better sleep
✨ Encourage balance in the nervous system
✨ Boost overall wellbeing

It’s deeply relaxing, completely natural, and tailored to you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, run-down, or just in need of some “me time,” reflexology offers a chance to slow down, reset, and reconnect with your body.

Your feet carry you through life — let them take care of you too 💙

Remember to be kind to yourself Always 💜

Reflexology doesn’t come with official warning labels. But if it did, they might look a little like this.

During a reflexology session, gentle pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the feet that correspond with different systems of the body. The aim is to support deep relaxation and help the nervous system shift out of prolonged stress mode.

That sudden silence, spontaneous sighing or even falling asleep are common responses. They’re signs of the parasympathetic nervous system becoming more active - often described as the body’s rest and repair state. As this happens, breathing slows, muscles soften and mental tension can ease.

Many people notice increased thirst or tiredness after a session, which is why hydration and rest are encouraged. Emotional responses can also occur. Stress isn’t just held in the mind. It’s also carried in the body, and when physical tension releases, emotions may soften too.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that supports relaxation, balance and overall wellbeing. Sometimes the most noticeable effect is simply realising how tense you’ve been, and remembering what calm actually feels like.

SLEEP - the healing state.

Sleep goes in 4 cycles from light to deep throughout the night.
Stage 1 - light sleep - transition from wakefulness - reduced muscle activity, heart rate slows and you often feel like you’re ‘falling’
Stage 2 - light-medium sleep - body relaxes, hr slows, temperature drops
Stage 3 - deep sleep - essential for the body’s PHYSICAL REPAIR, immunity and memory. Muscles completely relax, breathing and hr at their lowest
REM - brain is highly active, body is paralysed, vivid life-like dreams, helps with processing stressful memories (is this where the saying ‘I’ll sleep on it’ comes from?)

Stage 3 sleep is strongly associated with the body’s ability to internally repair whereas REM sleep supports memory consolidation and regulates emotions.

Disruptions to these cycles reduces their restorative benefits. Whether through alcohol, stress or sleep disturbances.

Sleep is so important - it’s the healing state

This is interesting!

If you’re anything like me, it’s always the carbs first - Chips all the way!

But maybe this would be an easy hack to better insulin spikes!
