Happy Monday and Happy March.

One of the best experiences people have in the therapy space is that of being heard. Whether by me , their partner or themselves.

To not have someone give their view, to judge , to agree or disagree or try to fix but to simply listen and hear them. It's a game changer.
.and to be the listener can also be a brand new experience.
Learning things you never knew before as the outside noise was always so present.

It's a tool we start right from the first session when I work with couples, groups or families. To just be able to speak and be heard and to listen to simply hear.
My podcast feels a bit like that when I speak with guests. Helping them tell their stories.

1st February saw Imbolc come to us – the first day of Spring – a time to look for renewal and fresh starts and hope for warmer days to come. February also sees the official day of romance – Valentines Day!

This is me at the weekend - gingerly going over a lock at our local canal - it was a big achievement as I have been struggling to find my balance recently .. but it was important to have faith and move forward.

Sometimes life feels unbalanced – relationships can feel this way.
You worry about where to go because you don’t feel stability or equity.

The path can seem uneven.

However in reality the unbalance is in us – wary of stepping forward in case we fall and are hurt.

When we are brave and find that inner balance we realise that although the path may not look solid – it can actually carry us all the way across.
