Amy Hammond, Health and Wellbeing Coach at the Galletly surgery takes delivery of the first set of exercise bands from Sue Hills, representing the Galletly Patient Participation Group (PPG). They were funded by the PPG from the sale of books and CDs in the surgery.
Amy will trial these sets with her patients, with the aim of helping them improve their fitness and enabling them to carry on exercising at home with their own set of bands. More sets of bands will be purchased if they prove successful.

Gosberton Medical Centre in Lincolnshire is celebrating after being rated ‘Outstanding’ following its latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), recognising the high standard of care provided to patients across the practice.

The rural practice, which cares for around 8,250 patients, received an Outstanding rating for being effective and responsive, with safe, caring and well-led services rated as good.

We are commencing our Spring vaccination campaign on 27th April 2026.

Who should have the COVID-19 vaccine?

You can get a COVID-19 vaccine this spring if you:

* Are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 30 June 2026)
* Are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
* Live in a care home for older adults
