A little about me and the family..

To cut a long story short...

I had been considerably over weight since the birth of my second child. I wasn't in the greatest of health either, a smoker and also took anti depressants. Deciding to quit smoking I took up cycling. for 3 years I was riding. I could cycle 100 miles a week and my weight would not go down. I tried slimming world, fab I lost it painfully but then went back on, weight watchers, slim fast all of them. Nothing I could stick too, I was either too tired to cycle or craving....

In early 2015, a ride with my brother and I hit another wall, completely emotional, needed carbs etc he bet me to go two weeks without sugar. Told me I was a sugar addict and the health issues...My brother, keto and doing iron man events yearly for over 10 years, slim healthy and obviously I wanted to prove his theory of sugar addiction wrong. Us cyclists carb load....

This is where my story began and since my study. My family are all low carb, the health improvements have been amazing and the differences in my children were obvious.....

There is no one diet fits all but some simple fundamental things you can follow to really help your weight, gut microbiome and health. This is a lifechanging long term lifestyle! Paleo, keto, low carb, carnivore all have these similar principles and its about finding your niche!
