Hi Everyone,

I have just added a few more dates for Sound Meditation sessions in May at the Hillsborough Village Centre. There are spaces on 13th, 20th and 27th May now. If you need some time to unwind and relax then join me for an evening of soothing sounds. I will be playing tibetan singing bowls, chimes, a wah wah tube and a rainstick. All you have to do is come along, bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket and listen to the sounds. Hi Everyone,

Tibetan singing bowls offer significant benefits, including stress reduction, deep relaxation, improved mental clarity, pain relief, and better sleep quality. These tools, which have been used for centuries, work through sound therapy and vibrations to lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety, and promote emotional healing, creating a calming "feel good" effect on the body and mind. These benefits are why I started my journey to play these wonderful instruments. I want to help people to find peace and relaxation. I am running Sound Meditation sessions on Wednesdays at Hillsborough Village Centre. At present my next one is on 20th May 8pm-9pm. Hi Everyone,

We have a beautiful forest right on our doorstep. If you go into the woods, find a tree you a drawn to, sit down beside it and place your hands on it's bark you will begin to feel it's magic. This is called earthing or grounding. We are electrical beings and need nature to recharge our bodies. If it's a warm day just close your eyes and get your bare feet onto the forest floor this will work just the same. I hope you get the chance to get out today and relax. I'm out in one of my favourite places today. This is the start of my ascent to Meelmore and beyond in the Western Mournes. Hi Everyone,

It's a beautiful day and the sun is out. I hope you all get out in nature for a walk, sit and relax beneath the trees or dip your feet into a stream or the sea. We need to ground/ earth ourselves to nature to recharge and feel connected to mother nature. I'm headed to the forest in Hillsborough soon then will come back for a sound meditation at home. Hi Everyone,

Sound meditation activates the body’s relaxation response - lowering stress hormones, slowing the heart, and calming the brain’s electrical activity. The steady, harmonic frequencies of Tibetan singing bowls help guide the nervous system out of “fight or flight” and into deep restoration.

I love the Tibetan Singing Bowls for their sound, golden colour and warmth they bring to a sound meditation. They are a wonderful instrument which I cannot wait to share with you on my next sound meditation evenings on the 6th May and 20th May. Thanks for viewing and have a wonderful day, Natalie 🥰

Hi Everyone,

What a lovely morning here in Hillsborough Northern Ireland. I just had a 20 minute meditation out in my garden. With the sun on my face it felt magical. Meditation is a practice that can feel strange at first because it requires us to be still and breathe slowly. Most of the time we're racing around and busy. So try to fit in wee 10-20 minute meditations into your day. Just sit or lie down somewhere comfortable, close your eyes and breathe. Imagine all thoughts melting away. If your thoughts aren't slowing try writing them down in a notebook first and say I need a moment of peace and I will come back to you later. Works for me but everyone is different so find your own way to clear your mind and whatever works do that ☺️ I hope this helps and that you get out into the sun today. Enjoy, Natalie 🥰
