📢 Christmas & New Year GP Practice Opening Hours 🎄
Please note that GP practices will be closed on the following dates:
❌ Christmas Day – Thursday 25th December
❌ Boxing Day – Friday 26th December
❌ New Year’s Day – Thursday 1st January
✅ Normal opening hours will resume on the next working day after each closure.

Christmas can be a difficult time for older people, especially if they live alone. Changes in routine, loneliness and cold can all be challenging. If you have elderly relatives or neighbours, ensure you keep in touch this festive season – it can make a big difference.

No one should feel lonely over Christmas. For older people in our communities who are waiting for the phone to ring, just having someone to talk to can make their day. Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week • 1–7 December 💜

Crohn’s and colitis are often invisible, but they affect every part of daily life.
IBD isn’t just a stomach ache — it’s fatigue, flare-ups, uncertainty, hospital visits, and a strength many never see.

✨ 1 in 120 people live with IBD.
Common symptoms include:
• Ongoing diarrhoea
• Blood or mucus in your poo
• Stomach pain
• Extreme tiredness

If these symptoms sound familiar and persist, speak to your GP.
